There is a dota autohosting bot(maybe its lc that autohosts) which name starts with [aus/syd] and it works like this. Any amount of obs can join the game any time they wish.If arent obs from the start it moves u with higher speed till u catch the real time on the game, also it doesnt allow obs to whisper only to talk to 1 chat which is all chat.If u manage to do that to lihl or so u will solve both ghosting and allowing any number of obs without whining.

ghosting cant deleted by this imo, since people could still chat via skype/ts/... + like this people wouldnt be able to control who is observing their game

How about, we do this, and just trust each other enough to think, that no one in LIHL will ghost ?

The amount of obs is, afaik, limited to the map and overall amount of players.

However, your suggestion prolly smth like uak tried in the past: streaming the live replay and allowing players to join while the game is running; that failed and wont be re-tried any time soon.

i doubt ghosting would do much

@nabo. all the talks about MH and Ghosting, are imo, just pure assumptions, and really don't matter any way.

Cause, 1). SS test so far, has shown no MH.
2). Even IF some players do ghost, they most likely will do it via, anything other than warcraft, like skype and other chat/call program
so it can't Really be proven, and even if someone, discovers someones minor "fuck up" and report it, The Mod answer will also most
likely be something like " i get what you are saying, But there is insuffecient evidence for a proper case. Denied. "

My last ss test was when krumme was mod

Thanks for the suggestion armed. However i am clearly !against it. If any ghosting is happening (or if somebody wants to ghost) its mostly through skype etc. imo. As a player i wanna be able to control who obs and who doesnt (mostly for that reason).

virus right. people will continue to ghost using Skype etc ..
the only thing to remove all doubt is removed obs (and referees) to anyone except moderators and new members .. but i do not think anyone is okay with this.
(Although sometimes i wonder what is the fun of watching a ltdgame,imo the only reason to have obs is to secure a place for the next game ^^)
