I'm pretty sure uakf.b has the means, and isn't implementing anti-mh scanners via his beliefs on privacy principles. I feel like most lihl players aren't so worried, and don't use the same device for this as they do for secure transactions. Would it be feasible to require antimh software, with any exceptions providing ss tests 3x a game?

I wasn't here when HBC reapplied, but I was torn on the issue. He did cheat me in game for like 3 years, which is frustrating, but I'm sure he's not the only one. Many MHers probably assume everyone is cheating, and use it defensively. I would like to welcome MHers back into lihl, but in an environment without mh.

How many players in lihl are using mh now? My guess is >3..

don't think its a good idea to be intrusive even if its feasible.
cheating in a game is absurd, ss test from time to time is fine i think.
and new patch disabled the old mh from my understanding.

uak didn't implement it for that reasons but rather the lack of time to fix the bugs/develop it further.

I developed a tool to remove the screenshot procedure (at least manually uploading/manipulating ss) for the user, however, it has yet to be approved/tested by the league administration.

Thats means , the ss will go directly to the tool?

In theory, yes. I will provide the details and technical aspects once the testing has been finished.

cheating can be funny from time to time. look at all the clogging, suiciding, etc. that was in LIHL. better to have a tool than just go the high road and assume no one cheats.

internet is bad here, can play in a few months. will sign up if there's a 1v1 or 2v2 tourney.

cheating arent funny at all, and i dont think that mh stuffs should be considered like clogging and suicide;
but i agree that should be a tool to anti mh.

I do not think there is currently a working anti mh tat can be implemented on the ghost bots. The antimh for places like ranked gaming is through their own client, so thats different. If you have an antimh tat works, let me know and ill ask uak to do something if feasible.

As for arty's tool testing...half the blame is on me due to my absence. The tool should be ready in few weeks or next season depending on everyone's cooperation.

I don't see how anyone can maphack with the screenshot testings .. .. I used it for a about a week and I got caught, so how will anyone use it for years without getting caught? I don't get it HBC didn't get ANY Screenshot tests ever in 3 years ????

I have often sensible information often while playin wc3 in window mode. Why should i trust a tool developed by a "random" person? Why would u think i couldnt't manipulate this tool?

Since im developer, it would actually be much easier for me to manipulate this tool to turn off mh before screenshot, then to manipulate a screenshot in a graphic tool, which i have no clue about.

This tool would just provide a false sense of protection, which doesn't exit.

It would eliminate 99.9% of mh risk.
As far as I know the tool just sends the wc3 screenshot, which only shows wc3. But the trust thing .. is still a point ofc.
