SS TESTS ARE A NIGHTMARE

My last 3-4 ss tests took minimum 10+ minutes.. One took 20 or so minutes.. The one running right now is closing in on 15 minutes... We need something done.. If u can't do a ss test in 2-3 minutes, u get unvouch untill u can prove u can do it in 2-3 minutes or so.. If some players have super slow internet maybe they get a few extra minutes. Something please.. This is retarded -.-

Really, just go into the multiple threads that are around here about that topic already. It just always takes long if a crowd has to do something. Someone doesn't know how to do it, another one has a mega slow connection, another one cannot find the screenshot folder, the next one doesn't know whom to send it to, other one has no active forum account or forgot his password, you want me to go on? Yes, people should know how to do it and how to do it fast. But if you face reality, that's just not the case!

I maybe once had a fast SS test, all other ones (which was only something like 3 or 4 anyhow) were mega slow and took ages. After one, we even had to draw the game cause after waiting 35! or so minutes, someone had to leave.

All those you've listed except internet connection are preventable. And even so, the internet connection factor takes the least amount of time compared to the other factors.

Players just aren't being responsible for acquainting themselves with the SS-procedure which not only is selfish, it undermines the SS test.

Temp bans may provoke people in learning the process, rather than 'learning' the process on the spot.

I don't say they aren't preventable. Everybody should know how to do it properly and fast, I agree. But like Avada pointed out, it's just not the case
Probably there should be more SS tests, then people will learn the procedure much faster. I haven't had one in weeks.

People should learn the procedure but they do not, to the detriment of all other players in the game.

Make them eat the consequences. They'll learn quickly...

I mean the fastest ss test I've had was probably 10 minutes... slowest was 20+... I think temporary unvouches for slow people (except Frede with his wooden Greenland internet), and if repeated issues occur, longer unvouches, should be implemented.

The problem is that since the new patch we haven't done many new ss-tests anymore, and since then you can't do 'printscreen' anymore. So many people are unpleasantly surprised when they get an ss-test and they can't do that. So I am inclined to give people their space for that, because it was also not communicated very clearly that this has changed.

is this change for the game, or for the mac or Windows users only ?

If i do printscreen it does not go to my screenshot folder of WC3? then i need to install a capture program on my PC or what is exactly the procedure now?

After patch update i got that problem : when i prt screen in game it says screen captured , going to paint copy past but it shows my desktop , before update i got not that problem, but still got the picture in wc3 folder.

@Lord-Miles is correct. It does say captured, and the screen can be a picture of your desktop when you go into paint. You have to go to the screenshot folder of your Warcraft 3. Not sure how people can't find it when they needed the .tga file anyways.

Let us hope that there will be enough ss tests...eventually leading to everyone being capable of taking one and be fast = reason i wanted to promote ss tests and increase its frequency in the first place.
