i do beelive the reason why we signed up for LIHL , so we can play pro games no noobs, no scrubs to play with and no headache involved, as of now the league its became busy but it does not mean it became good busy, alot of players that are scrubs are in, idk how or why they get vouched? they have connection from admins or so i do no know. i think the league is not becoming the league that was destined to be, PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS playing each others, and for this it resulting of lots of losing with pro players mixed with the noobs,
players that i do not think should ve vouched are more then 7, and it resulting Me, ricky911, legionpro877, rock.strady. shroom, realfurb and couple more, considering stopping LIHL for that reason only . so actions should be made, anyone ins getting vouched now and it not right, that why LIHl was made, for Pros only. thank you.

I agree.

Please understand that we were admittedly lenient at first to get the league off the ground - and we feel that it was necessary to get started.

This is not the case. Every vouch request has received equal treatment

We are trying our best to view replays and be selective. Granted, we are human and make mistakes. Rest assured, we are actively monitoring performance and listening to the players' feedback.
Ricky -
Your final sentence I think you are implying that the players you listed are thinking of stopping LIHL play? If that's the case please put those thoughts on hold. Here is what we, as moderators, are thinking:
We do feel that sub-par play will lead to eventual "un-vouching". We ask that all players please be patient with this process as it will take some time. We also do not feel justified in unvouching someone after 1-3 bad games. Remember that the LIHL can be a little bit of a learning curve even for solid players. For this reason, we ask that you allow us to listen to your feedback and take a little bit more time making our decisions.
We, as moderators, are actively monitoring performance. We do have a list of players who may not "fit the bill" and we have plans to make some cuts in the future. The timeline on this is not definite as of yet but we were planning on "cutting" some players at the end of Season 1.
We feel that the integrity of the LIHL is not only fair and honest play but also play that is on the highest level of competition and competence. Thank you for voicing your thoughts and rest assured, we are looking into this topic actively.

Ricky thank you for posting this, we are aware some players might not be up to par for what we expected the league's game play to be like.
If you are considering stopping LIHL for these reasons along with some other players you mentioned then it concerns us greatly, we do have a watch list in the admin section. We are going to discuss this further among the LIHL moderators.
If it has gotten to the point where you are thinking of stopping LIHL for the reasons you mentioned in your post, then i think it's time we took some action to solve this problem.

1) no one has ever been kicked from LIHL for being too scrub
2) no one ever will be
3) Im not afraid to name names, but since I myself only have 1000 elo I dont think im in my right to bash people yet
we will see a lot of players dropping to 700 elo within the next weeks

I must admit I have observed (or been in) a couple of games where the builds and choices made by some of the players have made me do this:

I have been observing 20-30 games and have to agree that skill level and knowledge of the game does vary alot between players. Also you have to remember that when games are played with prophet, games tend to be more random and the outcome of the game often comes down to what sort of you units you get(especially for 2v2). I do believe that the average skill level in the LIHL will increase by time if less gifted players are given some time to improve. If you want to make LIHL a supreme elitist league this can be done but imo you probably wont even be able to fill a 4v4 then
. It will atleast be difficult for euros to get games going outside of the us timezone.
I would suggest that there should be a opportunity to raise a !unvouch post on the forums where the LIHL community including the "offendant" should be able to discuss his/her performance and make a decision on the players future in LIHL.
Personally i havent played more then roughly 20 games, where about 10 of those have been decided on a player failing either a heal or a send, for me, this is alot more annoying then a player missing his build or whatever. I hope that i wont have the same percentage of my games ruined by this when ive(hopefully) reached 100 games.

But again, when comming from pub everyone needs time to adjust to the dynamics of high skilled non merch games. I personally ended up playing so much mech in pub games that I forgot how to play the real game. Ive played legion since 2007 and seen all the development and the funny imba shit come and go. And I actually forgot the entire game from just meching.
It could be interesting making like a league 1 and a league 2. League 2 is where everyone starts when you get vouched and league 1 is where you can go if you get X wins/X elo. This is worth considering once LIHL grows bigger

We don't know every single player who signs up for lihl so a lot of our decisions are purely based on elo and a handful of replays thus some slip by. We will not and should not unvouch players until we have a good idea of their skill level and stats itself aren't a good measure (ig0d was 1-15 at one point).
We do actually have a 'watch list' hidden away and we will be removing some players in a week or so. We don't want to make any hasty incorrect decisions.
Indeed some sort of stepping stone would be nice (ideally it would be the hr bot).

I must admit that the are few people that have dissapointed me over the course of the games. However I do believe the channel is still too young and not enough games for a lot of people to be judged.
I have made some jokes over the course of the games of some people that are poor decision makers ( when to save or send, or even when to build which towers looking for a more long term or short term build, depending what levels are coming and with what sends ).
But I can give you two counter-arguments for your post Ricky.
1) The first few games I played in HR vs ig0d beep iightfyre and whoever else was at those matches, were a totally different game from publics. I failed hard, but i adjusted over a period of time and became a better player. The same will happen with some players in lihl, those who won't adjust will eventually be removed, but I honestly believe it is too soon.
2) At the moment we are hardly 20 players active in lihl, let's supposed we remove 5 that perform below par; how many games do you think will start each day ? It is already terribly boring to wait again and again in order to play a couple of games.
I understand and share some of Ricky's concerns but I honestly believe that the whole idea of channel lihl needs more time to be effective.
ps: Someone posted the idea of making 2 division leagues for lihl, i can honestly say that this will seem terrible as having already a handfull of players is making it hard to host (4v4) games, splitting those into 2 categories would make it impossible, ending up hoping that the same 8-10 players would log everyday the same hour to play.

I took a break from lihl due to this reason also, after playing 68 games of lihl, and almost had 30 of them destroyed by different reasons(not low lvl play). Main reasons for those failed games been plug pulling, teamkilling and no healing. Imo its impossible to let those actions get away time after time after time in a "pro" league. Also the fact that you can get away with cheating with less punishment than public games shows the league havent been a success so far, however I am sure the lihl mods will make changes to make it happen. Personally Im just waiting for this to happen, but will stick to pub untill the ammount of destroyed games are less in lihl than pubs... Wrote this on my phone so sry about spelling mistakes and such....

I agree. But also, since there were a few bans and now a new DC rule going into effect I haven't heard a peep about unfair game play. A week has gone by without a complaint, so it is in fact going in the right direction and will hopefully keep trending that way.
Missed heals.. meh. Happens to everyone from time to time. I have seen maybe 3-4 in 150 games myself in LIHL. One of them was mine OOPS

Definately happens from time to time
but 15ish % of games are to much
and for example missing to heal with maxed king @ lvl 17+ when other team is dying isnt even supposed to be possible in a "pro" league as u can heal already at half hp
8/68 games for me.. 8/51 if u remove disconnects.. So its to much?
but glad to hear its going in the right direction =)

disagree with that list really heavily lol. legionpro877 is legit.
I think the game amount is a bit low, and some have less experience with HR games. obviously there's variation, but if it was a "super pro elite only" league, not only would there be almost no players but there'd be no ELO - ELO with so few is just variation of few points.
