ENT Gaming

Many players like to come on akas or invite their probably ex-lihl friends into channel. That's dandy, as most of us enjoy pubbing and doing other stuff than just LIHL together.

However, some join then bait/flame/spam the channel with nonLIHL issues while many players are waiting trying to get a game started. (Several examples I've noticed have been fake Guennter, footmen wars players, and ltd players who applied to LIHL but weren't accepted). It's cool if it only happens occasionally, but almost every time I'm in the channel, the chat is dominated by topics that are sometimes mildly interesting but definitely have nothing to do with the channel.

I'm fairly confident I'm not the only one annoyed by these frequent newcomers coming in and out of the channel spamming about some topic then try to bring you into their discussions while getting madly upset if you comment about what they say.

If you have private stuff to discuss, please don't discuss it in the LIHL Channel. If you want to bring a public friend to a channel to chat about something that has nothing to do with the channel, please don't bring them to the LIHL.

Here is our lihl champion, first day playing, already complaining about such a ridiculous stuffs.
Maybe that can be annoying but cant u take it for urself and let ppl enjoying doing w/e they want?
As far as u can check !players !gn !sign ect.. , there is nothing to worries about.

Today was the first and only day i've seen u play in what? a year or something, yet u feel entitled enough to throw these nosensical ideas in the air. Here's a tip - use the squelch function like most of us use on you.

if someone just wants to appropriate the channel for a purpose that doesn't involve anything concerning LIHL but does involve flaming/baiting... perhaps they shouldn't be joining the LIHL channel. It's not about whether the players complain or not (no one has yet, to my knowledge), rather whether there's an issue that can be addressed to the benefit of LIHL even if the players aren't actively taking issue or making an point of it.

do you still play? this topic is merely discussing a concern, not throwing any ideas anywhere.

Players can no longer !sign from in game, so instead they sit around in the channel. If you remove this limitation, this issue will quickly resolve anything that comes up.

LIHL Players can have a function to create lobbies within LIHL, with restricted access decided by the administrator of the lobby. The primary lobby would be used by anyone signing into a game and only accessible by LIHL players.

Seriously though ... the only time the chatchannel is flooded, and you cant rly read who signed and so on, is after a game ended, and people flame each other for tk. ^^

I hate this kind of 'exclusion' things. Everyone is welcome in the LIHL channel and they can talk about what they want. The only exception would be if someone has bad intentions. Things are going fine as they are and there is no reason for any change. If you find the chat confusing just type !players a time extra.

It's not exclusion; rather, organization. Simply saying "do whatever you want, talk about whatever you want, everything is good and I don't have anything to do" doesn't improve or even maintain the course of the LIHL channel lobby.

On the matter of not excluding individuals, If people aren't excluded, why is the league vouch-based? Why not just let everyone in? The point of the league is accountability and accuracy. That is denied via akas, random pubs coming in and flaming/baiting, etc.

If you disagree with a suggestion, learn to properly answer to it and leave your 8 years old attitude out of it. Saying just no can't be so difficult without personally attacking him.

If everyone disagrees, no reason to keep it active.

@art)y you are defending a guy who flames and baits and rages more than ANYONE i've seen in all my time on ENT in general, so congrats on deleting comments because you are sensitive and don't know the whole story lol.. spend some time in LIHL channel and you will see, this guy has been back 2-3 days now, and has taken toxic to new heights.. then puts up a post acting like he is the one who is being negatively effected by OTHERS. So, good job defending this sad excuse of a player.

Off topic:
You should know that I am more than aware of the circumstances in LIHL. However, given you've retired a long time ago, I thought you wouldn't take everything so personal anymore. Being a bit less butt-hurt would suit you.
