Focus on not dropping/drawing vs Gproxy users

Hi Lihl
I am making this topic because I have now witnessed quite some games, where a player with Gproxy goes on lag screen.
And almost instantly there is someone typing !draw or !votekick, or trying to Drop
The whole point of having Gproxy is so you have a chance to reconnect to the game. And no, just because the lagging player goes offline, does not mean that he/she wont reconnect, the entire point with Gproxy is to reconnect after you lose the connection(Goes offline) Zzzz
So let this be a warning.
From now on whenever I shall witness such misdoings, I WILL report whoever is doing it.
Have a nice day

Click on the drop button is a bit lame i agree with dong. But type !draw is just a funny troll way of say "saved by dc". I dont think u should care much about draw in that case. !votekick or press drop i agree is just a thing to be cut.

Dropping a player with gproxy is also against the rules. Don't do it (unless you know he is out or something).

Hitting the button once helps to find out if the guy has Gproxy or not...

You should know that, since the rule was made after you were unfairly dropped/kicked with Gproxy ^^

That is still not ok, cause if you lagg withouth Gproxy you can still be in the game, unless lets say, 7 players click on drop just to see if proxy, unlikely, but can happen..
besides we know most of each other well enough, to know who use Gproxy and who do not

Unless the one lagging get kicked by players who did press to drop, i dont see any issues ;
Most of times as jamo said, ppl does to check if the one lagging got gproxy, and if he got gproxy, he wont be dropped since its an gproxy function.
As far as i know, ppl doesnt get dropped or if it does, feel free to report them for dropping someone who had chance to be reconnected.

So in your opinion it is considered Common sense, And mannered to try and drop/kick players that have lagg issues, and are trying to reconnect to the game, and ultimately giving them a dc penalty because they did not get the opotunity to reconnect to the game ?
Wow man, that is so mannered and very common sense, yes, I can see that.
Let's just ignore all the rules ? and just go by what Each individual player in lihl consider common sense, and mannered ye ? ye ? ye ?
It is very clear that the examples I have given for the games that I refered to, is not just 1 player clicking "drop player" to check for Gproxy.
If it was just that, I would not even care to make this topic. So please get some common sense of your own, and see what this topic is really about.
I mean, you should try and go to the public bot, like ent18 or ent31 and try !votekick abuse, and when you get banned, just say " But he was not kicked because all did not vote yes, so what is the issue. "

To sum up:
- Don't drop/kick players (give non gproxy users some time and don't drop gproxy users at all).
- If a gproxy user gets dropped, everyone who clicked on drop will get punished, no matter what your goal (checking for gproxy etc) was.
- If a gproxy user gets dropped no dc penalty will be enforced (if we should ever do it by mistake you can always mention it and we revert it).
Also since probably many players don't know this. Even if you click to drop on a gproxy guy who is still protected from drops, your vote will also count for future votes. So if e.g. 5 people drop someone while it is not possible to only one person needs to later press to get him dropped because the prior votes are still counted. That's also why everyone who presses drop will be punished if it later succeeds

Why are people without proxy allowed to play? just ban them until they get proxy, not having proxy is insane.

@dong , to sum up, as far as i remember in my games, no one get dropped even if i press drop button to check if the player got proxy because right after i all chat 'dont drop' if i see more than 2ppls pressing it. But if in your cases it end by drop, feel free to report ( thats out of common sense to be dropped if u got a chance to reconnect ). Im pretty sure that we are civilize enough for communicating to avoid someone being dropped even if someone did press drop button.
Difference with rules and common sense is your intention ; if i do press drop button, its not to kick the lagger but to check if he got proxy and as i said previously i also know that he wont be dropped since i would communicate for it.
