Feedback on trials

Postby dweiler » Mon Aug 08, 2016 12:14 pm

At the moment we have eight trial vouches. So far we have had almost no feedback from the community, which we would like to determine whether to accept or deny them. So please comment on their trial vouch either by either responding to their topic or sending us a PM. Thank you.

@Lord-Miles
DJ.FM
Psyclone
mindmachine
forever
Piper
Varg
Fate
hate2lose

In my optinion Piper Varg and Fate are skilled and have a nice behavior. They are ready to move to acepted.
Played just 1 game with with DJ.FM and the build and behavior was nice.
Played no lihl game so far with psyclone but as far as i know him hes one of the most skilled ltd players.
Havent played enough games(or i cant remember) with hate2lose, forever or mindmachine to hav a clear opinn, but i have no complaints about tk or bad behavior so far.

No problems with any of the new vouches; they just need to further adapt to the LIHL gameflow, which I am sure will happen sooner or later.

Played with Piper / Varg / Fate + Mind , in my opinion these dudes doing well , good behavior not fighting and knowledge of the game for sure , they should be fully accepted.

Psyclone is an old player played with him many games , skilled and mannered guys , ofcourse he should be fully accepted.

About the other few players didnt played with them yet so i cannot even say a word.

imo psyclone should have been insta accepted since his amount of lihl games in the past .
About new vouchs, nothing bad so far, seems all behaves good and correct knowledge.

some need more time to get fully adapted to the madness, but they should all be accepted in as far as my experience with them can tell. But mind machine should have to pay, to counteract how annoying he is lol

Played a lot with:

Psyclone
Varg
Piper

All seem good. May need some time to fully adapt to LIHL but they should have no problems.

I played with:
DJ.FM
Psyclone
mindmachine
Piper
Fate
hate2lose

And I think they are all well mannered and good players ready for acceptance.

Havent played with Varg, yet. No idea about him.

i can support piper and varg, both skilled enough, friendly and open for advice. ofc they need to learn and addept to lihl-playstyle a bit more, but i guess that will come game by game. I played with the other to, but didn´t remeber any specific game anymore.

The one thing that is a bit unsettling is that more than half the games I see piper or varg in, they are suicided. I understand this is the current "meta" right now, but 20 value at level 10 is starting to closely resemble the types of stuff we saw 4-5 seasons or so ago.. where people were 0 value and leaking full to buy time(which was eliminated for obvious reasons). There's really nothing pro about that, though it does counter being outrolled in many cases.. perhaps we should start looking into a way to balance the game without having to suicide lanes, because it is becoming so repetitive and abused now that it kind of kills the fun from many games, most of which are ensured to end pre-17. The same thing over and over is not healthy for the league; there should be some disparity imo.

@Nore , there is a suggestion here about minimum 50% value. (viewtopic.php?f=72&t=94836) If you have another idea how to stop this we would also welcome this, because it is a very rough remedy that also brings about a lot of unwanted consequences.

About the trials, we will accept all current trials (except Krocis who I just put in trial 10 minutes ago :p)
