Re: dc pen
I'm 99% sure I would have reconnected in time if you didn't drop me. Imo it should finally become a rule to not drop ppl during gproxy countdown ... I mean that's exactly the reason why we are using it.
And seeing it was apparently only a not vouched observer and Shrimp voting for drop it's even more silly ...
(19:20 / All) Diablo_: Player [Avada] voted to drop laggers.

Re: dc pen
Dropping someone while in countdown should never result in a dc pen. This is just shrimp trying to add an easy 3 elo. What is this #4,000? :p

Re: dc pen
You was lagging 1-2 rounds prior to dropping, and more than 80seconds elapsed and you didn't reconnect, that's why people were able to drop you. Even if you had reconnected, you obviously had some internet problems, in which you couldn't fix.

Re: dc pen
Btw I only dropped because I was asked to. People was saying "drop him" in all chat so I followed. No offense meant

Re: dc pen
I restarted my router during the timer which fixes my problems in 90% of the cases.
Idc if you meant no offense, you have no right to do such stuff as observer, even less when not being vouched, Avada.

+1
Definitely should be a rule to not drop a player that is attempting to reconnect with GProxy... that's the point of GProxy!
Also... why is an observer that wants to get vouched DROPPING a player?!

Re: dc pen
Like I said I was asked to in all chat :/ People started pressing drop, saying "drop please" in all chat, so I followed. I pressed drop after 4-5 people had already done it, it's not like im sitting there "DROP DROP HAHAHAHHA" :s
Re: dc pen
Even if, i agree , it's not mannered, still no rules about not dropping ppl lagging, so better to make it one

Re: dc pen
Maybe in scenarios like this, though rare, (at least until a rule is implemented), give the +3 elo to all players but the one that drops, but don't penalize the -18/21 to the one dropped by laggers... especially since an observer had a part in it.

Re: dc pen
Lastly I did not know there was penalties for dropping out of a game. Now I kinda understand why diablo is unhappy :b
You can take the elo from my main account on 1200+ lol -.-

Re: dc pen
The 2 votes were enough to drop me, as can be seen in the chat history.
Anyway, it's time to wait for a mod.
PS: Food for thought - the afk rule says you can go afk for up to 5 minues without being able to be kicked, so why should a 80 second time out be enough to be kicked?
