[DOTA] Squirtle@uswest.battle.net

Postby OptimusPrime » Sat Jul 19, 2014 10:48 pm

Your Warcraft III username: Sauron@useast.battle.net
Violator's Warcraft III username: Squirtle@uswest.battle.net
Game name or map name: [ENT] DotA arem us/ca #87
Stats page link: http://storage.entgaming.net/replay/vie ... 928749.w3g
Rule player violated: Map Hack
Time of incidents (Note in-game timer or replay timer): 17 minutes into game
Any further thoughts: Invoker had placed an obs ward in our bot woods and pink shows up and drops a sentry ward right on top of it. Very straight forward ban.

It does look strange. None of your heros uses windwalk (as far as I know) and none of you bought lothars. But he saw invoker running around with wards and he switched from observer wards to sentry wards. But I am unsure about whether that spot in the woods is a dead give-away or not.

If you decide not to ban him, i will add a replay from a game where he does some suspicious/strange things with invoker. Also dewarding random wards and sunstriking without vision. Pretty sure he hacks

Ill look at the replay when im free. One suspicious activity does not warrant for ban, unless its so blatant.

If u can doubt his actions little bit with "good guess" or due to map movement hints, dewarding a ward aint enough.

Plz do provide another replay if u got one.

Thx

just finished watching replay and as suspect as it look.. i dont believe he MH.. that spot is known to be warded to IMO it was a lucky drop of sentry .. as the game went on. pink kept warding and dewarding through out the whole game up till the last minute.. so yeah i say no MH unless you have a replay of the time he played invoker ..

knight-delta looked through the replay with squirtles fishy plays, not finding any fogclicks. I do not have anything solid, it is just a few fishy situations with a sunstrike with no vision (a decent player could guess with some luck) and a deward on a ward as if he knew exactly where it was, could also be luck. anyway ill let you know if i got more. guess nothing so far enough to ban :)

The problem I see is this: Pink gotta mh for sure. I would bet anything on it.

He keeps clustering the map with observer wards. He clicks on Invoker (the only on that team to buy wards) at 6:xx and the next time on 25:xx or so. I forgot the times, but you will see the point.
During those many minutes inbetween, Invoker decides to buy observer wards and then uses them around 17:xx
Suddenly without being told about the wards nor having clicked on Invoker since the wards have been bought, he switches to sentry wards....None of those heros has windwalk or any other skill that makes you invisible...and nobody has lothars...
So why in nine hells do you switch to a more expensive version of wards? Well, only option is mh. Then he of course places those wards close to Invoker ones and finishes them off. I didn't check for brown, but if pink isn't cheating, then I would really like to hear his story for how all this happened to come.

Ay, pmed the OP.

Pink seems to mh, but i dont think tat one instance is strong enough proof.
The dewarding at 17min is suspicious due to the timing he dewards(soon after it was warded), not because he dewarded that particular spot. Other places he dewards are also common ward places.

As for brown, there was one instance of him pinging calling out lycan and ganking in jungle with no prior vision.

Ill prob look other replays later this weekend when im free.
