Kelogsloops Neo31 Froxon

Postby MuffinMan » Wed Jul 30, 2014 8:19 am

Your Warcraft III username: Bigmak
Violator's Warcraft III username: kelogsloops neo31 Froxon
Game name or map name:
Stats page link: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=3994917
Rule player violated: TK
Time of incidents (Note in-game timer or replay timer): 2-4 minutes
Any further thoughts: Tit was dler, so I was going to kill him with mass pools. Che(Mag) realized what I was doing and decided to help me. neo31 started the tk by killing my pools, and Froxon joined him. Kelogsloops killed my shelter causing a flood of workers to come to the shelter I placed on accident by my pools. Due to the flooding of workers I tried to figure out who killed my shelter and failed to see the titan ww.

Woops...
Point is, you feeded the heck out of the titan. Yes for a moment he was low on hp, but it was right next to the mound, which means he healed up and returned to stuff his face with some more delicious feed in no time... Luckily for us, he was also totally useless, so he died anyway...

I was in this game and i can only witness.
Bigmak could have indeed kill tit with mass pool. The problem is it was undistinguishable from intentionnal feeding. Bigmak did not say a word about it.
Replay does show this, as every builder including Che, voted to votekick, except tit, building more suspicions on int feed, trolling or else.
Then from the flood of the votekick commands, it was too late to explain anything.
The shelter thing is regretable indeed, but ppl were just trying to stop what appeared to be intentionnal feeding more than a mass pool strategy.

@MuffinMan do you actually have a replay of where this worked, ever?
tbh if an admin was in the game, you might've just gotten insta-kicked that looks terribly like feed. (aka don't do fruits in the open again or else you get banned).

kelogsloops@asia.battle.net banned 1d (shelter useless tk).

Leaving brq open for muffin to respond.

I don't have a replay, but I've seen it work before. I didn't save any replays because I didn't need it for a ban or to learn from it.

I'm not sure how to appeal for a ban, but I'll provide my reasoning best as I can.

So with the mana pool spam with the intention on killing Titan, as stated above, there was no indication of what the plan was, so it seemed like to me, an intentional mass feed. To the right bottom corner of the Titan mound, almost visible from the Titan's view from the center mound, (parallel to where the mana pool feed was), there was a massive 'lumber base' that was built in the wide open, with workers flooding the area lumbering without being 'walled off', so that a titan could easily walk in and nuke, taking all the feed without warning time to allow for deto. So, I destroyed the shelter in hopes that there was ANOTHER shelter built somewhere AWAY from the middle, so that the workers would automatically walk to 'return lumber' at the secondary shelter. That way, the titan wouldn't be able to so easily find the feed, which was RIGHT outside the mound, so it couldn't be missed. But it was my mistake for assuming this, because I didn't check clearly for whether there was a secondary shelter, which led to the flooding of the pools area with workers. It was my mistake, but I was only doing it with the intention of sending the feed to a 'safer place' that could be properly walled off etc.

@MuffinMan consider this a warning, don't do that strategy again.

I find it hard to believe that it would've worked as the titan could just walk out since you're not able to wall in.
