We went for empire upgrade strategy with a repair ship late game to further enhance our empire ships. player on opp team named "schredder" did not want to fight vs this strat and started multiple kicks against me that are in violation of ENT rules. Please ban him, schredder seems to think he can start kicks for personal reasons.

He has also expressed he "doesnt give a fuck about being banned for a few days", let me know if u need a link for that. I can provide.

qaqa has ruined more games than he plays we wait one hour for games some times for him to ruin in 5 mins i hope you can see what was said in lobby before the game started if not just ask the players in both teams we start games some time and if he thinks your not playin to his standard hell go afk if he cant kik

I certainly hope schredder has data to back up his claim that I "ruin more games than I play", but that's not the point, he makes some wild accusations and that's his opinion. Admins should focus on the game in question, where schredder breaks ENT rules about invalid use of kick or votekick commands without reason.

I wanna add something here: Without having watched the replay or read the ingame chat too closely, I assume that the votekick vs qaqa wasnt justified because upgrading the empire ships/structures is allowed. As schredder mentionned the votekick expired and it was qaqas own team kicking him with the Crossfire -kick command. That has a gameplay reason: Upgrading empire ships often forces the enemy team to upgrade too (the cold war problem) if they wanna stand a chance. This usually means 45+ min of additional time just passing by because everyones upgrades (resulting in boring 2+ hour games) OR the enemy team getting pissed and accepting (to different degrees) a quick loss. Thats the sentiment behind schredders reactions as well as mine when qaqa does that. And he upgrades alot: He used to upgrade every game against me for a time; maybe he thought it would improve his chances. It also makes everyone else sick and a lot of regular players struggle with qaqas toxic attitude. Now that I shared my few thoughts qaqa will most certainly jump in, explain the ent rules to me, bumbling on about something.

Final statement: schredder is a nice guy and experienced player that most others i know DONT wanna see get banned, even if he broke a rule here. qaqa is a good player and allowed to keep his lawyer attitude up; but still, I and certainly some of the other players would rather see him off the bot than schredder^^

PS: qaqa first sentence alone gets almost every experienced players stomach to ache... "empire upgrade STRATEGY"...

1. I claim schredder initiated votekick for personal reasons, maybe he dislikes me, or maybe he dislikes ship upgrade strategy, or maybe something else. My point is that he started votekick for personal reasons, and just so admins are aware, his -votekick was for opponent (I was in his opponent team that game). I do not claim his votekick command got me kicked from that game, I only claim that he initiated multiple illegal kicks against me.

2. ClulessFlamer is a good player, however from reading his post, I feel that he thinks BS Crossfire is a popularity contest, he basically says "schredder is more liked, so he does not deserve any punishment". I strongly disagree with this attitude. BS Crossfire is not a popularity contest, and even if player, like schredder is "popular" it does not indicate he gets to break rules for free. I hope you see my point.

3. Upgrading ships stratagy - as ClulessFarmer stated, this is a valid strategy that has real life chance of working. I understand that many dislike it, however it is part of the map we are playing, so it is valid part of the game.

After reviewing, there are a few situations to mention:

@schredder You should definitely refrain from votekicking players who aren't violating any rule(s) - You started 2 abusive votekicks, and you are now banned for 1 day (You are free to appeal it, and we will discuss it from there)

@qaqa If a player abuses the votekick system, the correct thing to do is report them via brq once the game ends, not votekick them as well + the votekick started at 14 minutes was by your ally, due to you being at base (Your strategy is valid, but if your team complains/requests your help, you are supposed to help them, not stay at base afk), so this votekick and the -kick after are legit.
