He's been known for suiciding in the past, and being toxic towards newer players. He could have easily attempted to defend bot from mid by deactivating his camps which he didn't do. He could have possibly rushed top as well, but instead he surrendered.

I have written up my perspective on Determination's gameplay in another topic relating to the a different game. I do not feel that it would add much to repeat it here, but if necessary I will. Please note I was .FS@uswest.battle.net

He did deactivate his camps. Didn't make any effort to defend in middle but there was no real chance of defense so I don't think it's worth a ban.
