Game Name: [ENT] Civilization Wars #39
Your Warcraft III Username: bi_a_op@europe.battle.net
Violator's Warcraft III Username:
0052@useast.battle.net
uG_Medigen@europe.battle.net
drag0nspirit@asia.battle.net
WorldDoom@europe.battle.net
maverui@europe.battle.net
Violated Rule(s):
Do not abuse !votekick: its purpose is to kick game ruinners who violate ENT's rules and negatively impact the game for either or both teams in the game.
It is possible to game ruin by being new. In this case, votekick will only be valid if the new player refuses to learn and cooperate. Just because someone is a newbie or bad does not mean he is intentionally game ruinning.
When you initiate a !votekick, you should clearly explain "Who" and "How" the violator is game ruining via all chat.
If you are unsure that someone on the opposite team is game ruinning, ask the other team for clarification via all chat.
Time of Violation (in-game or replay): 0:33 seconds in.
Any further thoughts: I chose the top lane as I told them beforehand in the lobby. As the replay shows I was quickly votekicked after stating that I was new to this map. I was about to explain what I had learned from my previous game about tech and was going to ask for more help when a !votekick was initiated against me. While one by one voted !yes I was just baffled. It was very bad sportsmanship in my humble opinion. I can understand why my teammates would rather have a more experience player on the team because there is a ELO ranking system but that does not justify the !votekick abuse.

Yes votekick abuse. But also lane stealing:
(from lobby chat)
[bi_a_op]: can i take top?
[System]: Players not yet spoof checked: bi_a_op
[System]: 10. . .
[System]: 9. . .
[System]: 8. . .
[System]: 7. . .
[System]: 6. . .
[System]: 5. . .
[System]: 4. . .
[System]: 3. . .
[System]: 2. . .
[System]: 1. . .

This was clearly because you were new, but for the future you must get a response before you take another's lane. Unless mutually agreed upon, it is expected you play your color in this game.

Whilst the vote kick was not clear cut there was a rule broken by bi_a_op prior to it being initiated. In future I suggest you wait for a response prior to taking a lane you ask for. Generally people in CW play there own colors.

Denied.
