Any further thoughts: He picked the glitch where once he uses frost breath (skill from winter wyvern) he becomes invulnerable to targeting spells. I was unable to use chaos bolt or frostbite on him. I have seen this glitch several times before. @i3omb

It is not a glitch. If you had some experience with regular dota, you might have bumped into the following situations.

1. Batrider is chasing your teammate in firefly. If you frostbite batrider, you can save your teammate. But somehow you cannot use frostbite on batrider and your teammate dies. Your teammate starts raging.

2. You are winter wyvern. You are in arctic seige and have about 100 hp left. Sven uses storm bolt on you but your dagger is on cooldown. The only hope you have is to dodge the stun with eul but somehow you cannot eul yourself and you die. You type in all chat; lag! Of course with some colorful adjectives in capital letters

They sure look like glitches but they are not. You cannot use certain skills such as entangling root and cyclone on a flying unit. It makes sense if you think about that. It's due to the restriction of warcraft 3 engine.

The base skill for frostbite is entangling root, fyi.

After reviewing it, I do not think it is a bug just that the unit is consider to be "flying" as mentioned by zehk so that is why you couldn't target the player.
