So to convict someone of maphack we need far more evidence. In this case, mortred has an ability called blur, which shows up as an icon on her hero square. When another hero has vision of her that icon disappears . So if the icon suddenly disappears, and there is nobody visible to mortred, then she knows there is an invisible hero lurking.
