Hunter. Recently I've been playing on my shitty router which gives me 420ms lag spikes, so I've been spamming pirate EB a lot.
His hunter allows him to get megas before GP easily with the reduced item cooldowns. If you have another ward killer hunter, it could be worth it to send your hunter to the secret shop for money.

I'm not the expert on lumber feeding, but atm courier can't sell items thus you need your builder @ shop(s) to sell? Which is why item cooldowns doesn't matter because everyone has to go in base to sell stuff unless you are rambo and risk your builder by going to shops.
A Titan hunter works as well.
It's trivial to use a turtle to grab items then run back to a builder to sell at a Merchant. Having no cooldown or a reduced cooldown would simply make lumber feeding a bigger problem.

Re: [4.0.0] Suggestions
Tbh, I don't see much lumber feeding nowadays. So not sure if lumber feeding would be a problem. But it's annoying that you must wait around 1min to buy another egg xD

Re: [4.0.0] Suggestions
Egg should definitely deserve a lower CD, people are always greedy with their gold, you hardly see much gold feeding these days.
Lumber feeding can certainly be a problem in inhouses though. I usually base at top right, which makes the risk of not having my flying hunter sniping the wards for a small amount of time shorter.

Re: [4.0.0] Suggestions
I don't think I even use 3 WOTWs per game, I'd rather have a WOTW on main, and two more WOTW on separate minions.
Having a WOTW recipe item won't hurt anything though, I guess, for players that spam WOTW a lot.

Re: [4.0.0] Suggestions
Add Barricade & Potion of Spell Resistance to Merch.
With removal of Satyr barricade is no longer obtainable and more items in Merch give more reason to get it.
Potion of Spell Resistance - 2g, 600L - Absorbs 400 spell damage for next 15s has consumable cd of 60s.

Re: [4.0.0] Feature Suggestions / Changes
I have a few suggestions, most with the idea of making the game more friendly for new players/players learning to titan (without drastically changing the game). In general, learning to Titan is a steep curve, and anything that can be done to make titan easier to learn would be healthy for the game.
-Make titan shop/recipes viewable by builders. Many players who don't titan frequently spend a significant amount of time sitting in the middle reading recipe and item descriptions, which not only slows the game down for everybody, but every minute that passes without farming is bad for the titan, making the titan (even more) unlikely to win the game. As a builder, however, there is a significant amount of down time in which players could read titan item descriptions and costs. It will increase the general populations skill level by knowing titans item availability, and hopefully result in better item selection in pubs.
- A -po option, similar to -exp or -fr, except -po is potion of omniscience, which would give the titan view of the whole map for a few seconds. This command would be particularly useful against titans who have trouble navigating the map due to it being walled out (WC3 pathing is awful, and unless you know the map/common walling spots to walk to them, it can be quite frustrating to navigate the island). This command would also be unique in that it would give the titan some help, but not be a permanent buff you cant retract, and would be repeatable. It would help them get some feed and hopefully reduce the number of games where the titan "camps til dead".
-Make titan shop usable at a further range (so you can sit at mound and use all 3 shops). I don't care about this, personally, as i just use the mound to do my shopping, but newer titans rarely recognize the mound even has an inventory (until they're frantically searching for that sweet trident they bought but cant find). Quality of life buff.
-Game message at start: Not sure what to buy? Try a pearl of vision
-Lumber purchasable upgrade to increase regeneration rate and range from mound (something like 400w for double the regen/range, not cheap enough to buy early and drag games out, but not so expensive it's never used. I often find myself sitting mid and regening most during the mid game, as early the pools are so small it doesn't matter, and late game you usually have enough items/time it doesn't matter)
-Fairly expensive lumber purchasable upgrade to increase movement speed of all minions/titan to webbed feet status.

Re: [4.0.0] Feature Suggestions / Changes
It's not possible to prevent Builders from buying things if they can see these shops, which would be a problem for tomes etc which are intentionally cheaper for the Titan. It would also not work with the pages system.wastedlandering wrote:Make titan shop/recipes viewable by builders.
Interesting, but I don't see voting to the give the Titan vision helping balance. I think you also give new players too much credit here, they're much more likely to camp the mound no matter what else is out there.wastedlandering wrote:A -po option
This is already in the game.wastedlandering wrote:Lumber purchasable upgrade to increase regeneration rate and range from mound
A good idea, I like it.wastedlandering wrote:Fairly expensive lumber purchasable upgrade to increase movement speed of all minions/titan to webbed feet status.

I figured this would be a problem. I thought adding a set of viewable shops unreachable by builders might be a work around (pages system would screw that up though, I suppose), or changing the titans currency to its own resource type. Perhaps I am overambitious about a feature that would go widely unnoticed, and there are other aspects of the game more worthy of development time. I'll put some more thought into this.

Pays to read the full description of that upgrade. Well done.

I see your point, I do think many of them will continue to sit mid and camp out. However, jumping in as titan then having 10 people yell at you to "find feed" on an enormous map littered with vision and terrain obstacles, a push in the right direction might help. I think it would, in general, be an interesting addition, and more productive than giving them a buff such as -exp, as double of nothing is still nothing, and -exp or -froff are peoples goto responses for poor titans. It might not win the Titan the game, but it will help them realize what they should be doing, and if you couple -po with something like -exp, well that really could turn the tables (although, like you said, I could be giving new players too much credit here).
