Why are you banned: Item stealing
Why you should be unbanned: I was banned based on the chat in game with this guy who made a base with 2 walls in Island Defense. So what really happened was that this guy's base gets rekt and as Sat I come in and get him out of there, the noob we were helping was not as fortunate, and i make structures so that the titan and his mini can't get back out and chase. Mini died because of this. Now I didn't deal any direct damage to them but after the base was killed and titan cleared it out, I went back a couple minutes later and grabbed the bones that were left there. Suddenly I'm being yelled at that since I didn't kill the mini and I had bones even though i was the one who made sure the mini couldn't get out. Honestly reading through chat I thought i told him that but all thats there is when I told him it's not item stealing to go back to an abandoned base that got destroyed to grab the bones and basically saying hes a noob who doesn't deserve them which looks very bad on me if I'm honest (but it was true). I wish that the actual game replay was on the ban so that you could see the trap with me saving that ungrateful pissant and stopping the mini from escaping. If I knew how much of a whiner he was or that he would take things out of context to try getting me banned I woulda just given the stupid bones to him because honestly its not like it did anyone any good.

Plus he was making no attempt to get the bones himself. If its still considered Item Stealing, so be it I'll serve my ban but in what happened I still disagree that it was item stealing.

Item stealing.
1. If the player gave no contribution (Trapper = Damage dealer > unit blocker > slow/stunner > unit revealer (vision + eye of ocean)) to killing the chicken and/or minion, then he should not deserve the item and can be banned
2. If they take it and doesn't return the item to the player upon request of the item owner.
3. Does not apply to the titan who can -kick <colour> the minions.

Wrong. Tauren could escape (whether you helped him with that is beyond trivial for the case).

Wrong. The mini died after gobo died by the last hit of tauren's buildings.

Tauren later went back to the base once all minis and titan disappeared. Blaming him for not going earlier is no valid argument.

All in all, I see no arguments which are in favor for you regarding this rule. Neither do you seem to understand it; at least from reading your post which is 120% blaming tauren whose towers dealt major damage.

He was in that base more than long enough to put up more walls and establish a more effective base, I mean he had time to put up multiple towers to "whose towers dealt major damage"

That wasn't the relevant part, I was more just heated that he'd report me after getting his ass out of there, and I do sincerely doubt his ability to escape.

I'm not denying that the mini died because of the tauren's buildings I'm saying that the mini would've very likely otherwise escaped. Plus the rules even mention trapper.

When was that? I never saw him return to that base, to my knowledge I was the only one to return. The guy never said he wanted the bones until I grabbed them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if there are bones left somewhere for a couple minutes, and you were present for the kill blocking escape routes for the minion, should you just leave them there because it wasn't your base? What's the statute of limitations for leaving bones? Should I not grab them all game? If it had been 20 minutes and I went back to grab them and he then screamed he wanted them do I become his delivery service? Honestly if you can show me the actual replay so I can take a look maybe I'm super wrong about all of this, I mean it was days ago. But to be honest just showing the chat feature doesn't really give a good picture of whats happening.

I mean the ban is like only a day left and I'm busy today anyways so I don't even care anymore, but the reason I'm even arguing at this point is how condescending you're being. It's infuriating. Ya its the internet and you have anonymity woohoo. That's not a reason to be an asshole to people on a forum you moderate.
I've been in customer service I get how it is talking to people sometimes, but you have to remember at the end of the day, we're just regular people, I mean if you had said "ok I see your point but damage dealer has the priority and just let the guy have the bones, maybe if you had waited lets say 10 minutes it would've been fair. Besides it's a small ban that's almost over anyways."
I could've accepted that. I'd have dropped it and been on my way. But instead you come in high and mighty dismissing anything I have to say because I'm sure you know all things and no one could possibly disagree with what you say because there's no such thing as a gray area. Seriously next time could you try and be at least subtle about your contempt for people on your forums? I used to hate "refunds" this being the equivalent of the refund part of the forum, its like "it happened and it wasnt me who did something wrong, just live with it" but I think you need to understand that here people might respond better to a more tactful approach rather than just immediately criticizing what they have to say. I mean not everyone who gets banned was acting maliciously or something.

Tl;Dr: Try not to be a dick to people when you're in a position of power. Maybe that's tougher for some people than others.

That's totally trivial for the rule though. The rule applies to mini gangs or fruit-wall-ins, too. Do you need a proper walling there? No. The rule is defined by the impact and damage you dealt. Which for you, was near zero. And building a shelter on a 1x1 spot with no other escape for the titan is no prize-worthy achievement either.

He was literally standing by the base to wait for the titan and minions to go away. Counting 1+1 together shouldnt be an issue here.

I would be more forthcoming if you wouldn't lie about every fact timing-wise, damage-wise and strategically. In the end, it isnt my duty to show remorse but yours and this is no customer service but a court/justice system.
