Ban appeal

Postby jeremymcgehee1979 » Mon Oct 31, 2016 6:27 pm

Your Warcraft III username: Teslaa
Realm/Gateway: uswest
Why are you banned: 120+ delay in ltd
Why you should be unbanned: I'm aware of the 120+ delay rule. I built 140 delay value, on lvl 17 I believe it was. I cannot recall if this was a misclick or a simple brain fart. I was banned for 2 days and have about 12 hours remaining. I honestly did not build this delay with any intent of gaining an advantage of any sorts, it was a simple mistake. Unban would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Any response would be appreciated very much. This was the most miniscule of offenses, and not deserving of this ban, in principle and length, in my opinion. If you review the game replay i'm sure you will agree. Humbly waiting your decision, thank you.

@jeremymcgehee1979
Please do not bump posts, as it is just considered spam.

Please head over to the wiki, find the rule you believe was broken, and paste it here. Thank you

I can't even find this rule on wiki. I always thought it was sort of an implied rule that good players abide by.

    Ahh I found it:

    LTD 1200+

The default mode is -hpgmcb prophet or -phgmcb, no exceptions.
All players must solo build: build only on own lane and cannot build a tower that will attack and pull a creep from the opposite lane.
You are only allowed to build 1 tower space into the dark green area, no further.
    Refusing to heal.
Refusing to cooperate when asked to do so several times by sending alone and not save-send with teammates to win.
Refusing to build in attempt to teamkill.
Selling value at any point in the game in order to stall time and gain advantage on a racing level is forbidden.
Do not build over 120 value of delay towers.

As I said in op, was most likely a misclick, I am aware of the rule and would never break it intentionally. Honestly I don't remember if this was a 1200+ game or not. I know it is allowed in ltd mega pub games. Either way I am sorry for the infraction.

I just watched the replay, it was a 1200+ game, so I did break this rule. I was aware in the moment, and simply misclicked as best I can remember. Sorry again as I mentioned, would really appreciate it if you could unban me a few hours early, thank you.

    Unban request

Why are you banned: 140 delay value in ltd 1200+ game
Why you should be unbanned: My previous post has been caught in the minutiae I suppose. I misclicked and did 140 delay in a ltd 1200+ game. I know the rule, was a simple misclick. I believe it would be acceptable to shorten my ban by a few hours, thank you.

Why is this impossible to reply to? Perhaps its because it was a nonsensical ban. Please reply one way the other, thank you.

Please refrain from making multiple appeals.

As of now, we're just waiting for @Jabba41 to come comment on the appeal, since he's the one who handled the request against you.

Jabba will not reply, hes clique'd with Vendeta, the person who banned me. This whole process is a joke.

If he does reply, he'll say something like, you know the rule, don't break it. Yes I know the rule, was a simple misclick. Vendeta literally watches every replay of every game I play with him to look for any minor infraction. His name is fitting, and he is a cancer to this gaming community. But hey, lets just uphold my ban for no reason.

Given you've provided the rule and have served half the ban already, I'll unban you. Next time please be more patient with the appeal process. Thank you

      Approved.
