banned for HPAC without announcing

Why are you banned: not announcing mode
Why you should be unbanned: i've read the rules and i see that hpgmcb is default mode for HELL games, and i admit i didn't announce HPAC. However, since HPAC came out, literally 99% of HELL games are unannounced HPAC. I've played over a hundred games since AC mode came out, and rarely if ever does anyone announce HPAC. The community has changed, so if you guys are going to hand out 12h bans on 99% of HELL games, the game is going to die. Please address this issue and maybe consider making HPAC an acceptable unannounced mode, because that's what everyone is already doing.

I do admit my mistake though, and I ask you to unban me since this is a weekend and 12h on the weekend is a pretty stiff ban for something that I really thought was the new norm. I will announce HPAC until you guys say its ok not to.

Hello @jave36,

please link the general rules and the game specific rules of the game(s) you got banned in, and highlight the specific rule(s) you believe you violated.
You can find them on our wiki.

That way, mods can ensure another rule-violation by you, caused by not-knowing the rules, will not happen again. After linking to the rules, they will expect you to have read them. Cooperating with them will have a positive effect on your ban duration.

Also regarding the default mode, you can always post a suggestion, and ask for the community input to see if the default mode should be changed or not (Note: You can play whatever mode you want, as long as you announce it in the lobby (before countdown begins)

By the way, you'll notice that explosilverboy is mass banning many players in the community for something that almost everyone has decided is acceptable. That reinforces my point that this needs to be addressed. I'm not saying you shouldn't enforce the rules as they are for now, but the rules need to be changed if the community has evolved. Letting one person rage ban so many people on a technicality is just not good for the LTD community. This doesn't excuse my breaking the rules, but it seems an appropriate time to bring up that the ENT rule-makers need to look into this.

When using a mode other than the default one, the mode setter (red) has to announce it in the lobby before the game starts. Every player must be informed, so they have the opportunity to leave in case of dislike.
Mode for 3.5 Beta is: -sdgmcb
Mode for x10 is: -hpgmcb prophet
