Why you should be unbanned:

I chose gamemode -prac. He was angry because his roll of towers were not what he wanted. He then proceeded to tell me I will be banned for not announcing the gamemode in the lobby. The whole lobby was silent, not a single person asked what mode was being played and in my entirety of playing, i have never once heard of someone having to call the gamemode in the lobby. I should not be banned because of an admin having a bad roll of towers on -prac. I believe his powers should be revoked as admin, this is very discouraging to a player trying to enjoy a classic game.

When using a mode other than the default one, the mode setter (red) has to announce it in the lobby before the game starts. Every player must be informed, so they have the opportunity to leave in case of dislike.

Simple rules such as Default Gamemode, need to be posted on the LTD game lobby, not everyone goes on the website and studies the rules. I'm in the army, I literally play to have fun, I do not get paid to play, therefore the result in my temp. Ban was outrageous and unlawful. Nobody asked what mode was being played, so I chose my favorite mode. No harm, no foul. You're boy didn't complain until he leaked round 2 because of his bad playing and bad roll. You can not help that. This ban was totally unjustified.

If you would have taken the time to read the chat you would have seen i was trying to teach a new player. I do not type very good to look and see what he rolled and keep up with my own game would have been impossible on a pr game. Left a lobby because red announced pr mode. Would have left yours also.

If you have already been banned for the same reason then you can hardly claim that you had no idea. Its very simple to make an announcement and if you don't like it then you can always submit a solution for a better system. I was thinking they should have the bot put out a message and delay the game start once it is ready to start. Something like:

"The game is reasy to start.
The game mode has been SWITCHED to (gamemode.)
You have ten seconds to leave the game.
If you stay, you will be accountable to play a (gamemode) game.
Leavers will be banned after this time."

On the previous ban for this he was only banned for one day, so he may not have been aware of it. The admin log does not show him attempting to join a game while the previous ban was in place.

Having said that, your angry and demanding tone coupled with your impugning of staff and its motives here is tiresome and misinformed. The purpose of these bans is not to punish but rather to make players aware of the rules in play. Once that has been achieved we are amenable to lifting the ban.

Most people don't report for phac because you can still pick prophet however it is supposed to be announced.
