Ban Appeal

Postby Polaris » Thu Mar 15, 2018 6:12 am

Your Warcraft III username: Polarity
Realm/Gateway: Azeroth/East
Why are you banned: Leaving a game?
Why you should be unbanned: Me and a friend were using hamachi because that was the only way we could join custom games. He joined a Legion TD Mega 1v1 game and left during the countdown and he got banned? This in turn banned both of our accounts.

Hi @Polaris or Nice

You were banned some time ago for proxy usage.
https://entgaming.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=172&t=112834

Last night, found you moving from your account Polaris to Polarity by moving VPNs to dodge your in game ban.
This is why you were banned, not for leaving a game.

Our hamachi wasn't working on Polaris, so we tried to go on our alt accounts to see if the custom games would work.

As noted, you're banned for using a proxy, and also Dodging that said ban once again.

Proxy/VPNs are strictly prohibited.

Is there any way to shorten the ban if promised to not use a proxy again? We didn't know there was a 1v1 lobby available and that would be a lot easier for us then creating custom games every time.

We will wait for FalenGa to reply as he was the first to ban you under the username "nice" per the above linked ban request.

@Polaris

We have a record trail leading all the way from Polaris to Nice of repeated Proxy abuse.
There is no doubt in my mind that you're the same user.

Please visit our wiki and copy-paste the rules you've broken by using a VPN/Proxy service.

After, you will be given a 1 month no-dodge period. You will not be able to play on our bots during that time, and if you've proven not to dodge your ban you'll be unbanned at that time.

I really only started playing again last week and have never had the account name Nice?
I really don't know how that is actually possible...
Do not dodge your bans. Dodging is defined as playing on a different account while being banned on another account, often by a (purposely triggered) change of the IP. Dodging is considered a major offense equal to maphacking.
The use of any utility that hides your real IP (proxies/vpns, etc.).
These are the rules I've broken.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Please submit an appeal a month from now (April 16, 2018 at the earliest), and we will conduct a background check to ensure you've abided by the agreement above. If you're found to not have dodged after said no dodge period, we will unban all accounts, but the Proxy servers will remain banned.

Processing.
