SonGoku/Icenfire dodging & VPN/proxy usage

Postby Astros » Thu Jul 04, 2024 4:30 pm

https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=12216668 <---- playing under a Pakistan IP
https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=12216672 <---- playing under a Chinese IP

The previous thread that was denied, both moderators refused to ban him for dodging with Halo even admitting he was dodging.
He's using a vpn/proxy and still isn't getting banned.

So maphack>dodging>vpn/proxy and still no ban but the ban request gets denied?

If I started dodging and using a vpn/proxy right now, you're telling me I wouldn't be banned for one year but a guy openly does it while playing on your team and nothing happens?

@Astros If you are financially able, I strongly recommend seeking help from a psychiatrist. It is evident that you are in need of assistance and excessively focused on criticizing others. The role of an admin is already challenging, so please refrain from inundating the forum with your complaints. It seems you view yourself as someone exceptional. When your ban requests are not met, you continue to vocalize your grievances. Taking a break from Dota would be beneficial for both yourself and the Dota community.

1) i haven't even played dota much the past few months. I'm already on record with iambackk that I won't be playing on ENT anymore. Rest assured, you don't have to worry about someone calling you out for your horrendous gameplay anymore.

2) You're just upset because of this comment made against you:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=147595&p=566073&hilit=poobumweek#p566073

Somehow you're a 1300 ELO player with omni only but a 600 ELO player naturally. 700 ELO difference, buddy. if you're not ruining, it might be beneficial for you to consider your own options. How many games have you ruined thus far with your own gameplay?

3) I'm not criticizing anyone except incompetence. It's quite evident now that the two moderators in charge of DotA are incompetent judging by how people who shouldn't be banned are banned but those who commit far egregious offenses are not banned. What's challenging about any of this? Can one player be in China and Pakistan in the span of one hour? Yet, it was denied. He should have banned SonGoku for maphacking, dodging, or using a VPN/proxy. He didn't. That's when it became quite obvious that he is picking-and-choosing who gets banned. I never said a single thing before that.

Serious question. Is Oldman the user Balai.polis? I ask because Frank believed he might be the same person, since Oldman was playing similar and came to the server also on a british IP out of nowhere. Oldman joined in 2023, which doesn't make sense since there are almost no new people to ent in recent years.

If that is true, it would possibly explain how Oldman ever reached 1300 elo despite having another 600 elo account. Balai.polis was banned 1 year for mh:

viewtopic.php?f=24&t=145189&p=558861&hilit=balai.polis#p558861

EDIT: After checking slightly more, I think it really is the same guy. All of balai.polis's old games had omni picks as his hero on a british ip. NO WONDER this dude is here ardently defending mh and dodging. You can't even make it up. Wow.

I know Halo explained on the last post but still kinda confused.

Songoku MH cutting trees to kill - fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This guy maphacks for sure, IDGAF what others say.

To be fair, Astros gave his ass plenty of chances but he just couldn't help himself.

But again, F all that - where's the 1 year ban for dodging?

The fact that he was banned on 1 timestamp is concerning.

No 2nd opinion on a one year ban.

Here is a link to dota replay manager this might help to look at a suspicious game.

He didnt play on ent for 9 months unless some other vpn
Was brought to my attention week 51 of his ban
9 months is enough on 1 timestamp
denied unless @unitil or @Iambackk disagree
