First of all I was reported by a teammate who was not even involved in the discussion. Secondly, he didn't provide any proof of "flaming". Myself and orange were talking during the game, and trolling each other a little bit. We both actually laughed a little bit during this. Nothing was serious. This was not toxic or flaming. orange randomly disconnected, having nothing to do with our conversation. The player who reported me freaked out and blamed me for this player leaving. I don't understand why an involved person, who clearly wasn't following the conversation is being pandered to. Please unban.

Did you see the part where he said he was good at it and that maybe he should do it for a living? And if someone isn't enjoying a conversation, why would he keep shit talking? Like we were just fucking around. He randomly dc/ed. We weren't even arguing at the end, check the logs. we were talking about college and stuff.

If he isn't enjoying it, why troll me again? I'd like to remind you THIS player did not report me. A third player reported both of us. How is that even acceptable? He wasn't being flamed and had no part of this conversation. He was just pissed Orange dc/ed and needed someone to blame.

@praetorian It is irrelevant if the reporting player is the one being attacked. The fact of the matter here is that you are the one who started the toxicity/ flaming and kept going. Your attitude of not accepting that you did something wrong - you were also asked to "tone it down" and to "calm down" by orange (was clearly poking fun at/ provoking you further prior to that, hence the warning).

Please review the game-specific and general rules, then copy and paste the one that you broke before. It could have a positive impact on the duration of your ban.


@myang_zhuang You are suggesting that an ally be forced to use !ignore on 1-2 of his/her teammates because they cannot control themselves - this hinders team play which is why we do not suggest it as a possible solution.

No I've jest been told to use the !ignore command when being flammed several times, but using it on your own team shouldn't be necessary.

Okay, i'm not going to argue about the toxicity or flaming. I am going to argue however, that I was banned and Orange only recieved a warning? If you look at chat I said he fucked up in game which is fine to say. He then called me an unpleasant little person which is just a straight up personal attack. So i'm not sure how I started it? I was talking about in game stuff and trying to win and he made it personal.
So no, I did not start it as you say.
As far as I can see he flamed as well, so why does he only receive a warning?
I broke the excessive flaming rule, btw. However, this doesn't contradict anything i've said here.
