Banned due to misleading vk

In game, one player started laggin and someone else started a vk against some other player in our team, every one voted yes (either out of bad will or confusion) and we all got banned.

I understand its impossible to know if ppl voted on purpose for the wrong person (besides the one starting the vote, who should get longer ban imho), but I think 2 days is too much. Even Fook himself got fooled into voting !yes, as we all did, and it makes no sense that my team and I would kick our best player in game. The chat log shows that we weren´t happy about it.

@D0NRR0N Can you or can you not see the player whom is lagging in the center-top of your screen? And can you or can you not see the players in which is being kicked? I believe the difference between the 2 names can be quite noticeable in this case.

As the person who submitted the ban, I feel like this is a proper place for me to leave my opinion for the people who got banned.


As shown in the chat log, even i typed !yes when the votekick for me was submitted by the player "bmwputin"

When you have a player lag out, its very hard to see the chat for whos actually being kicked because the bot spams messages due to ENT Connect that they are unable to be dropped and to start a votekick instead.... I feel like the people who got banned by typing !yes is a bit harsh, as I would have made the same mistake if the votekick was for somebody else.

You can read the chatlog for the OP and see he typed the following after i got kicked.

I am sorry if this is not my place to post, but I do feel bad that every one who voted !yes got a 2 day ban, when im sure at least most of them voted !yes without knowing it was me they were kicking.
