There were a lot of misinformation that was provided from the previous ban request which you can find here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=140614

Both my keyboard and mouse died even before I had the chance to type or response to my team. I tried to switch over to a different keyboard/mouse that i had in stock. Even right after i switched to a almost/new keyboard/mouse. I still can't type nor control my hero. This is due to hardware error located in the device manager. Both of my Mouse + Keyboard hardware was deleted.

My character suddenly stop moving. I tried all possible methods as i mention above. Typing or pingnig. Non of the methods were works. This is completely out of my controls and there is nothing i could have done during that situation. The ban was really unfair. I can provide more information upon requests. 1) Regardless of your hardware issues, you are still responsible.

2) Through your other accounts, you've been banned at least 12 times the past month by the autoban process (February+March) for leaving. You should actually be banned much longer for these bans here but because of your new accounts, the ban duration doesn't apply on a total basis.

In this game, a player under your IP griefs for ten minutes at the base but somehow feels compelled to report others.

Given all this, what changes if you are unbanned?

Hello @Astros,

1) Somehow I have to disagree with this. Hardware isn't something that we can fully control. (Unless you're major in CIS/IT/well-knowledged in the hardware stuffs.. I guess it is possible? But definitely not for us normal civilian). You can purchase a plain straight new model motherboard and can still have problems with it.

Also, I'm not sure if this is right based on your statement: " Regardless of your hardware issues, you are still responsible. "

Does that mean if someone disconnected or had issues with their PC/software/Hardware/Keyboard/Mouse/in-game freezing bugs/Desync... I still have the right to report them? Just because they have no controls over it? If so, I honestly find that pretty mess up.

2) Some of these issues are due to bad connection/Crashed/Failed to Reconnect with Gproxy. There's nothing I need to cover up. If it something that i did like ruining someone game by leaving the game directly. Then yes, I will gladly accept the punishment.

3) If he convicted then he will banned for a period of time. I have to wait until his ban duration is up. That's it all.

On the other hand, I think It is pretty wrong if you saw someone commit a crime and never report it.

1) Again, it's your responsibility to make sure that everything is working before you join the game. If you are having hardware issues, figure out the issue. In this particular game, not only is it you who was kicked for griefing but your friend (who is sharing the same IP) also left/dced. Trying to blame this on a hardware issue doesn't mean you aren't ultimately responsible for it. Even if I were to ignore the hardware issue, the ban would still stand because your friend disconnected/left.

2) Not really relevant here. Unless the bot or WC3 had a fatal error, your bad connection and crashing is still considered leaving if it results in you leaving the game. Your new accounts, considering the amount of autobans the past month, should result in a much lengthier ban when you leave the games (whether intentional or unintentional). And yes, you should report them if you wish to. The point is, other players are affected and it has to be fair for them as well. There is an appeal process and if we see there isn't a pattern of leaving, we have no problem unbanning or reducing a ban. If there is a pattern, it results in a lengthier ban.

3) But he somehow didn't report himself for griefing nearly ten minutes so I don't understand your analogy if you are trying to equate him as a good samaritan.

Just keep the above in mind. I am willing to reduce your ban to two days but:

A) Shared IP is shared responsibility. If you or your friend are banned, you will be too. Same goes with the appeals.

B) If you are banned on new accounts, the ban length will be adjusted according to the amount of autobans issued in your recent history.

Do we have an agreement here?
