Why are you banned: Because of a very silly and clumsy ban that says I was AFK grieving at fountain. I didn't violate any rules at all and it's absolutely ridiculous.
Why you should be unbanned: This was a very clumsy ban. I was literally the person trying to convince my team to stay because we were about to win. I wasn't grieving at well or sitting afk on purpose. I have 3 dogs, I work from home, and I have a girlfriend. It was very unlucky timing but sometimes I have to walk away for 2 minutes out of my control. There is a reason that 5 minutes AFK is when you can kick a player. It's not against any ENT rules to have a life and be forced afk for a couple minutes. I convinced one of our teammates not to grief or afk and then we won the game. The fact that I had something out of my control come up that took me away from the computer for a couple minutes isn't grieving or a ban offense.

Also of important note, clumsy bans like these are really annoying. Not just for me but for everyone. These days, games have been taking a long time to start and taking players out of the player pool unnecessarily is extremely annoying. I understand 5 years ago when there were 3-4 games, APEM, AREM, RDEM, SDEM, AP and AR starting every 2 minutes... but the player pool isn't the same as it used to be and it really ruins things for everyone when admin get ban happy over situations like this where a player didn't even violate a rule.

I mean how are the mods supposed to know your 3 dogs and gf distracted you? They just see you afk, they dont know why.

AFKing for less than 5 minutes can be bannable based on these rules, using mod discretion:

Do not go away from keyboard for an excessive amount of time, especially without telling other players beforehand, and/or refuse to play the game in an attempt to ruin it. Neither are you allowed to grief by resetting the afk timer.

5 minutes is just an arbitrary time set by the map.

Duration is less important than the impact of it. AFKing during an important push, for example could get you banned even if it's ~1 minute, whereas otherwise they might not care if you AFK 4 minutes in the middle of a game where not much is happening.

I understand. In that case I did break the rules. It is something to consider though that I've played here for 5+ years on ENT and it takes forever to get DOTA games and even late night HELLHALT games going compared to a few years back or even 6 months ago. All these bans don't help. I'd take 50-100 more players in the player pool who have a high leaver rate or sometimes AFK out rather than waiting 20-30 minutes for an APEM to start when AREM doesn't even run anymore. Is ENT even considering maybe changing how strict they are with bans since the value of keeping a player in the player pool is higher than it's ever been? It doesn't benefit the ENT community to ban generally considerate players like me who don't team select and just try to get games in. Especially 3 days for a single offense. I understand the rule but I just don't understand how preventing me from playing is helping anyone.

Because going AFK ruins the game for others. If you have to go AFK for a long period of time or enough of a duration to which it would affect others, I would rather you leave the game and appeal afterwards.
