The entire game, Bara and the other team had Superballer on their hit list. They saw the weak spot and went full shark mode—can't even blame them, that's just part of the game. We all know Superballer isn’t exactly in the Top Tier league and was bound to fold under serious pressure.
But what is interesting was how he was getting absolutely worked the entire game, and no one thought, ‘Hey, maybe we should tell Sniper how to deal with this?’ Nope, just radio silence and then the following.
(30:48 / Allied) TRADER: go fuck u sniper
(30:50 / Allied) TRADER: unisatll thsi shit trash
It's true the patience and tolerance for lower tier players may have dried up many moons ago. Where playing with the same pool of players for so long we forget to treat each other with basic respect and willingness to help or mentor. There are generally 2 types of players in game with some in between and a small percentage of game terrorist (ruiners/dodgers).
Type 1 - Ambitious with a purpose. These are the players who actually look forward to a real challenge. When the stars align, their teamwork is top-tier, and they thrive alongside others who actually know what they’re doing. Some that fall into this bucket have mastered the mechanics, have awareness levels over 9000, and get this...they can carry lower tier players, temporarily turning them into something resembling competent.
Type 2 - The Unambitious with no real purpose. These players enjoy playing marathon games mindlessly without any ambition of WANTING to be better. Some even believe they are improving their skills every day but in reality, there is no consistent progress. Rather they are delusional or not, to me this is similar to wanting to keep your job at Starbucks or Mcdonalds and being happy with it. They are not looking for more compensation or the stress that may come along with it. Playing at their current level is exactly how they enjoy it but on the contrary to some Type 1 players it's the most atrocious and disgusting thing to be OK with never improving. But are we going to ban them all?
Again, there are some players in between and some just consumed by hate and rage from historical games and if you mix all these types of players together in a small pool your bound to have conflict. I just want to highlight this from what my perspective while playing with you all on a daily basis in hopes it may bring you some clarity and align you with reality.
@stratt0n - Please refrain from speaking ill to players and try to suggest ways to help your team mates instead of degrading them. Chances are you'll be playing with them again in the next lobby.
I will talk to Superballer
@ogre_rules and explain to him that if he's not pro-actively requesting for suggestions or help from the team when he is under performing, he can and should be reported as RUINING the game.
I will close this post after I speak with him.
