Situation: An admin by the name of 'agreements' banned me and a few other users for 'votekick' abuse because we votekicked him for being noob.
Why you should be unbanned: So we can't votekick people anymore because they might mass ban everyone? Why does the votekick option exist then?

as a matter of fact, odds are we just got kicked cause agreements lost the game after 10 mins and felt "humiliated".
maybe this guy should say "i'm admin, let me play and let me win or u will get banned"...

Oh, my appoligies then, I was unaware that using the votekick for that command was a bannable offense. Thankyou for bringing this to my attention.

Out of curiousity, what is the purpose of the votekick then? When can you use it and not get banned?

Also, you could of made it more clear in the lobby that votekicking would get us banned, or that you were an admin. From my perspective, we votekicked you a few times, you said don't kick me a few times (sorry if i couldnt' keep up with ingame chat), and then banned 3 people (though interestingly enough some people who where kicking with us weren't banned). After, we gave up and played the game with you, which ended quickly because as expected your team was at a significant disadvantage due to player skill.

To clear something up, noone was trying to stack the teams, we were trying to make the teams fair. Also, having 4-5 people votekicking to have a 'stacked team' in a 3v3 game doesn't make any sense.

With respect to the comment about getting rid of a game's ruiner, do you have to wait till after they ruin the game or what? Though thanks for explaining the intention. However, that doesn't address why votekick exists in lobby. When are you allowed to votekick someone in lobby?

Telling someone not to votekick you 3 times isn't the same as telling someone that using votekick is a bannable offence, i'm an admin and if you votekick me you are banned. So again, it was unclear and I was unaware that I was breaking rules.

Could you explain the logic behind this? How is it worse to initiate a vote kick than to agree to the votekick?

You could have tried using chat and telling people that they are breaking rules, rather than kick and ban people without explaining things clearly. Maybe try 'Yo, I'm an admin! Don't kick me or I'll ban you for breaking ent rules'.

Yeah i thought that was strange. Though on the other hand I see many people trying to use different commands for bots that don't neccesarily exist and i'm unfamiliar with the commands for ent bots. You kicked us so quickly after the inital votekick that we didn't have time to know we were breaking the rules. On the other hand, why is it that admins can be votekicked at all? Shouldn't they be immune to votekick?

Noone was trying to have a stacked team, and personally I don't give a damn about stats, I'd rather have a good game.

Would be an example of abusing the command. There is no way possible for that user to get better if "pros" don't teach them. If I didn't have "pros" help teach me in Swat Aftermath I'd still be playing pubbies and dying like a noob, now I'm ranked 5th in the game because I wasn't votekicked for sucking when I first started.
