Is it fair refusing kick a player ruining game + refusing draw ?

Postby Ugly » Wed Apr 22, 2015 12:31 am

Your Warcraft III username: Ugly1
Realm/Gateway: europe
Why are you banned: deacting camps
Why you should be unbanned: i deacted my camps in a very specific situation : opponents did pause the game in order to ask kick their bottom player. They said reason was : not listening, not using gold, ruining game. Then the incriminated player unpaused the game. The opponents asked us to kick or draw (as the "fair etiquette" request). When i saw that tnscjkjkjkkjkjketc refused to kick AND refused to draw, letting the opponents loose a ruined and unfair game, i felt culpit of abusing this situation, and i asked tnsccckjkjkkjketc to kick or draw, as the game would be no more unfair and ruined. But some kids need so much elos that they could kill for it. So he kept playing, ignoring our complaints. I felt that the only way to stop this situation and try to make my team behave fairly i said "i deac my camps and i will react them when u draw or kick". I know the ent rules. But i also know very well the ent16 players since i play this game since the first day it came out. I really think there should be rule that says "if u refuse to kick a player ruining the game even if guys explain why, then u HAVE to draw, or it would be banable. without such a law, bad behaving kids like the one who asked u to ban me will stay the ones obviously ruining most of ent16 games. If u feel i acted bad trying to make the situation fair, keep ban me for seven days, or u know what , make it a year : i need to play in fair and minimum nice behaving environment. Cheers dudes.

@Ugly Actually, if you have read our rules before -
It is possible to game ruin by being new. In this case, votekick will only be valid if the new player refuses to learn and cooperate. Just because someone is a newbie or bad does not mean he is intentionally game ruinning.
So yes, if they indeed tried to help and he refused to listen, he could have been votekicked, and if someone refused to votekick, you can report them once the game is over, and after reviewing, the players who refused to kick may be banned.

However, "2 wrong don't make one right", so even if someone was breaking rules, you pretty much did the same (if not even worst), by deactivating your buildings:

(04:33 / All) UGLy1: k i deac all u can win
(04:49 / All) UGLy1: cant stand the retards that refuse kick
(05:12 / All) UGLy1: i deac all untill i see my team type !yes
(05:54 / Allied) UGLy1: fuck u
(05:58 / Allied) UGLy1: i'm afk then gg

Like you said, you know ENT rules, yet you broke them knowing what you were doing.

I'm denying your appeal for now, re-appeal in 3 days, after reading our rules again (Don't post new appeals again before the mentioned date, as they will be denied).
