Autoban and big ELO loss

Postby Proov » Fri Apr 24, 2015 8:32 pm

Your Warcraft III username: Proov
Realm/Gateway: Europe
Why are you banned: Lost connection
Why you should be unbanned: I like playing on ENT

Hello,

I lost almost 60 ELO in 2 games for no reasons. The ban appeal is about the 2nd game.

1st game: someone crashed during loading (and before red entered modes). 2mins later everybody desynced, 28 ELO loss. (details here : https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=5672684)

2nd game: i've lost connection, i don't know why. 29 ELO loss (details here: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=5679904).

I'm not asking you to add the ELO i lost, but desync shouldnt cause any ELO loss... everybody should have +0

Thanks

Mercy

About the first game, the command is !draw - the game wasn't drawn, but I can't gauge based on this. This one is interesting and I will bring it up in the admin section.

The second game, if you DC and your team loses, you lose ELO as well.

However, I will unban you, since it is clear both games were desynced. If you have further disconnection problems I would recommend you pick up a recon tool.

Having an unstable internet connection or a high risk of lagging out? Are you tired of losing a won game because you disconnected?
Do not worry, there are solutions to solve your problem!
    • ENT Connect is a on LAN connection based reconnection tool (no cd-keys needed).
    • GProxy++(Varlock) is a reconnection tool for the battle.net with an external prompt.
    • GProxy++ DLL is a reconnection plugin for battle.net (Recommended).
