Why are you banned: Stalling for Titan
Why you should be unbanned: #1. The entire lack of professionalism on my ban is ridiculous. There was not even a proper ban request, simply two people told me that I was stalling and a GM immediately banned me in a game lobby. There was no proper process for which my ban should go through. No evidence of time of my offense, no game name, etc.
#2.The ban was hardly serious, I was a Titan with a few minions sieging a base, and lost 2 or 3. Then I was told to give up and suicide because the builders believed I had lost and there was no way I could win. Later, I managed to obtain kills on the supporting builders that defended the base and they were enraged that I had killed them. First I killed the Tauren, and he immediately kept trying to votekick me because he thought I was stalling, when he died during a siege on a misplay and couldn't activate his Rage. The siege was still a little unsuccessful for some time, and I managed to kill one of the supporting Magnataurs, who also made a mistake when he looked away from his screen. Afterwards, they conducted another votekick, and then they kicked me.
My speculation is that the supporting builders who were decently golded were angry when they died, and when I managed to kill two of them, they were afraid of losing the game, said I was stalling, and then kicked me. It is important to notice that when the prior votekicks weren't successful, it was due to the fact that the supporting builders didn't vote yes because they were still alive. I had a reasonable chance of defeating the base after killing the second supporting builder, but was kicked after, and banned for stalling.
The game was completely in good nature as well, I hold no ill thoughts for any of the players and we had plenty of fun playing. I highly doubt that the intention of the ban request was even anything serious as can be seen by the tone of the players in the lobby, so why ban a player for something that means so little in the first place?

ENRAAAAGED
Yeah anyway, the defenders were killed far out of the base as they were fed up with the stall and decided to roam. Had nothing to do with titan's sieging skills. I was confident we would win, after all I was my own supporter by the point we were votekicking. Had maxed beast, two swords, three bones, couldn't lose if I didn't leave the base.
However, I don't agree with the ban. The fact of the matter is that the supporters were laying down lots of walls and feeding quite a bit of gold all around the map. The only real stall was after most of the minions died and the titan wouldn't get on with it.
In the lobby following the game, I was joking around with the other builders. They might have wanted the ban, but I didn't. The kick was fine though. Warranted.

Re: Unfairly Banned
Honestly, the stall here is questionable because of the dying supports but I'd set the stalling at roughly 42:00 minutes, only real potential Imo was at 30:00 when you nearly broke but the supports came in and defended and from there, no success as such was achieved again.
More details below:
Maybe this game wasn't intended as ''serious'' but still besides the fact, you violated a rule when it was clearly over at the time stated before and that's something that won't be allowed here at ENT regardless. Though, the impact of all of this can remain questionable which is where I will leave Haunt to, already been @'d so will just leave it.
Edit: Various chatting of you basically you admitting this to being over. If it's to the point where you can be hunted down, Why bother playing at all..?
More details below:
- 42:00 - Loses all but 1 mini which you clearly you won't break without your army.
- 48:00 - Kills Tauren which personally holds little affect over the game itself given after a solid 2 minutes of playing with morphling, he took the items dropped.
- 55:00 - Loses the 2nd minion going right back to square-one.
- 68:00 - Starts sieging again after roughly 10 minutes of just going around killing walls and pointless feed which can be considered alone for such.
- 70:00 - Starts being hunted by the supports which is enough at this point to be considered stalling.
- 73:00 - Kills Magnataur and gets votekick'd shortly after.

Re: Unfairly Banned
Even if the game is over, there is still fun to be had, is that not what games are for? This is why I stay in games even if the outcome is already decided, because it's still possible to simply enjoy it. It is not often for builders to get to the late game phase and be super golded, but the point isn't always to just win, it is to also simply have fun.
I guarantee you that everybody had fun in the game (late).
Even when the Tauren died, he could've left, isn't the game over for him? No, he was still in there, chatting with everybody else, having a good time.
Additional Note: The game is NEVER OVER. Not in my house. Maybe I had used a stalling strategy to lure the support builders out to kill them, and give myself an advantage?
On a more serious note: after I had one mini left at the 42:00 minute mark, I had plenty of gold. Enough gold to complete helm of domination and give it another go. Then Red (Magnataur) left so many free walls around the map, and both Magnataurs kept giving me Pizzlies, so I could still obtain more and more gold to finish more items, in which YOU NEVER LOSE HOPE!
In addition: There have been countless times where I am on the other side, and the roles are completely reversed. Where I had a powerful base and supporting builders, and the Titan seemed hopeless. But even if the game went on, everyone still enjoyed the game. And if the supporting builders got themselves killed, or everybody decided to intentionally feed the Titan, and the Titan wins, so what?
In my opinion, I never want games to end quickly. That's not how I want to play games, I want them long and enjoyable. Win or lose, they're still enjoyable.
If a Titan were toxic or bad, and decided to stall, then thats another issue, but when games are played in good will and no one really cares what happens, then why do such things like rules and bans matter?

And as I said the kills were pretty much at their own choice of risk, no? Also, green didn't have a nice time and attempted to votekick you and since everyone votekick'd you in the end.. How did they have their fun? Just because you enjoyed it, didn't mean they did.

Re: Unfairly Banned
But then Green is speaking for everybody by wanting me banned and kicked, is he not?
Maybe some people believe I should be banned and maybe some may think, "wow this is such a trivial matter", and maybe some may think that I shouldn't be punished at all.
I'm just trying to defend myself, and the single viewpoint of one person wanting me removed of the game shouldn't be the only thing taken into matter, even if he is "technically" in the right.

And I'm not doing such, I gave detailed reviews with timestamps and continued to provide my input from different aspects. Anyways, as I said before, decision remains to @Haunt , I think enough has been said here.

Re: Unfairly Banned
@Germaphobe The game should have ended at 42mins when you lost your minis. Why drag it any further when it's obvious you can't win? Killing one or two builders doesn't change that. Magnataurs feeding doesn't change that. They were bored and tried to kill mini in order to make you understand the game was over.

Re: Unfairly Banned
It appears that Haunt didn't really take in much of what I wrote.
I already stated my opinion for why I extend games, I don't play games just for winning, I play to enjoy them and help others enjoy them too (otherwise I wouldn't even be Titan in the first place).
Killing the support builders absolutely DOES change the outcome. Whenever I sieged the base, I couldn't break it because at every single moment there would be at least a Magnataur or a Tauren in their Rage form that deal huge amounts of damage and can consistently slow me. By killing two of them, and leaving the base with a single Magnataur, I can at least siege, wait for his rage to end and be on cooldown, of which then I could successfully break the base.
Morphling doesn't have the same disrupting capability as a Tauren or a Magnataur, he doesn't have a consistent slow, and he doesn't do extremely massive amounts of damage to a well-equipped Titan.
I fully understand the rules, and I stand by my decision for what I did, and I would do it again because it brought enjoyment to me, and I'm pretty sure it did for other people who played as well. Rules are meant to keep order in a game and ensure fairness so that people can enjoy the game, so if a minute violation of a rule that has practically no negative consequence on anybody has been committed, does it 100% necessarily garner a punishment?
Deny my appeal if you want, and I understand that GMs have rules and jobs and codes to follow, but I do not believe that we are all as dense to rigidly follow every single rule to every single minute detail and have them apply to every single possible circumstance with no exception.
