Why you should be unbanned: This is towards NutzSuckzHrd, listen here bro, when i refered to having 5 admin friends i was not talking about you. i dont want to appeal my ban i wanna let you know you are not my friend nor do i want you to be my friend. I was not afking in base, i had 831 ping check that in the replay its there and i couldnt do anything so me and my friend ff and asked our teamates to and they refused even thought game was unable to win. So watch replay more thouroughly before handing out BANS ADMIN. Other than that have a great night

Instead of leaving, you did afk griefing. AND MOVE to avoid you getting kick from it. Please. I don't think much you have friend, you've been banned for impersonating some. Maybe I'am wrong, still it's not cause you've friend in here that your appeal will pass.

For the part you asked them to !ff.. I will say you this. You just tryed to avoid a ban of two hours. By not leaving and asking mate to end the game for your own personal buisiness. I'm sorry, but no. Left it would of cost you less. Am I right? Now you regret it.

No i did not, i went to fountain so i didnt feed because i had 831 ping. They were fountain Farming and 3 of us had FF already. Why would i leave fountain? I was not AFK but i WAS lagging like hell.

If the game is unplayable for you, then leave. It is not such a harsh penalty. The bots are lenient and you'll avoid an autoban if you leave infrequently. If you leave enough times, you only get banned for 2 hours. You get an extended autoban if your stay time drops below a certain threshold. In all cases, it is better than moving in the fountain to avoid being kicked by -kickafk command.

There is a specific rule against that listed here:

The rule is as follows:

AFK: excessive AFKing; moving while AFKing to prevent AFK kick

What you did was in direct violation of that rule. Those rules are in place to make DotA a more enjoyable experience for everyone. If you seriously cannot play due to lag, then just leave. The team is better off with a leaver than it is with someone who is AFK. It is not for you to decide, 8 minutes into the game, that it is unwinnable.

Finally, anyone watching the replay will see that they did not breach our base towers when you began to go AFK. Fountain farming did not begin until closer to around 23 or 24 minutes. You went AFK at 8 minutes.

As a side note: It makes ENT look really bad if players violate a rule and say, "just try to ban me, my admin friends will just undo it." As I said before, the purpose of having a system like this is to make the game more enjoyable for everyone. If people violate the rules with impunity, it only encourages more rule violations -- and in turn ruins far more games.

9 min replay you sat in fountain. Game ended at 25. Math please? How much time of income team could had gain, + the item. Without you they had a better chance.

Maybe you're right. This ban is from long, someone had maybe same name as you on different realm. I don't lie watching the ban right now. But it's on west, maybe you never been him. So for this one. I'm apologize. Still it looks like after failing a game or two, user changed realm, thought was you. Sorry again.

I've played at least 20 games with TheShivaBowl and I can say that in all 20+ games he generally was a well mannered player and did not work to disrupt the game. Did he disrupt the game this time? Perhaps, I cannot comment because I did not view the replay.

I can understand why he is raging now because Nutz made a mistake and accused him of something that he didn't do. Was the AFK ban valid though? That is a different story and if the facts are true then I can agree there needs to be a punish for it.

I think this thread just needs to be locked and TheShivaBowl needs to cooldown. I hope everyone here can understand his frustration too and not add oil to fire. Just leave it be.

I appreciate it Tasc, I have no problem being banned for valid reasons, i have been banned in the past for leaving a game and i understand that and respect that but in this case, i honestly could not do anything with such terrible lag, anyone could watch the first 9 mins and tell you thats not how i play, my ping was terrible. I was not AFK griefing, i was sitting in base so i didnt feed and i FF like 2 others on my team. I am completely calm i would just like you to change it to a Perma BAN pls.

Either way, it's pretty off topic to ask for a perma ban just because you're pissed off at some miscommunication. Is this your first offense for afk/leaving? If so I feel like there should be some leniency in form of a ban reduction or just changing this into a warning. It would be grossly excessive to change this to a permanent ban, and also out of context of the situation. If you don't like ENT anymore don't play.

Ive had one BAN on ENT before this for leaving a game due to connection errors. It was a 2 hour BAN and i respect that. But a 7 day BAN for AFK griefing, instead of just leaving? That i believe is excessive. How am i supposed to know me leaving would be 2 hour BAN but me staying would be 7 Days? Makes no sense to me but whatever. Im done arguing or talking about idiotic things so im done. Do what you do and enjoy your night.

You did not watch the replay or check the chat transcript. TheShivaBowl was asked by his teammates to leave, was told that AFKing was against the rules, and was told that I would submit a ban request if he did not stop. His response was:
