CF 3v3 tournament

Like @Kunert88 proposed here: https://entgaming.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=82976 it would be nice if there would be a cf 3 vs 3 tournament with fixed modes.

I think there would be many that would like to promote it into the cf community and there might be a possibility to get some really good Matches. It would be helping to make it 1150 elo+. It would help new Players and even experienced ones to learn from the replays.

Sounds like a good idea, Im prob in if I can join a team that is
few questions is this just kinda "inhouse" for CFers or you mean this to be something bigger like the "classic" ent-tourney with rewards or stuff?

Depends on what is possible. A big tournament would be really nice, but I guess there won't be 40 Team or so

well to get the help from ent and not just organize it "private" on the forum you need 8+ so like 9 with 3 teams, for minimum.
So if you/we if you'd like some help from me, did things from that list of stuff we need, then ask admins/staff to vaildate it

I'll take a look for it and try to let you know about Sunday, so I can be more sure who wants to join.

I'd propose a knockout System with the the Special, that their will be an extra round System for the Teams defeated by the finalists, that makes it more fair.

Map would be the official 3vs3 cf map used in the ent elo System.

Modes could be:
-rr3-slt-ur-it8-ntb-ban1-ca-gld26-srg280-na-bal1-skip
or
-rr3-slt-ur-it8-ht-ntb-ban1-ca-gld26-srg280-na-bal1-skip

because rr3 leads to a decrease in the luck factor and should be used when two really good Teams meet each other.

Timetable would depend on the number of Teams participating.

That might be right, the Problem is, that they might have Problems finding a Team, and even with rr3 they would be in the tournament for around 30 minutes. An Idea could be, that you do a Kind of qualifying for "non-pros", so that only the better Teams would be able to take part. I agree that a tournament is more interesting if there are more Players, but if a tournament would have too many Teams, it would Need much more time to Play at, so it is more complicated to find the time to Play in it. That could finally end in "overnoobing" the tournament, because maybe some good Teams would skip it, because they won't find the time. I guess that Problem can be solved by defining a date on which they have to have a Team and a Basic elo (so they will have the time to Train in their Team a Little bit, and to make sure that the game is not to boring inside the tournament, 1150 elo is no "high" elo and could be reached in less than a week easily, so if they are good enough to participate on a "medium" Level, they will be able to reach that barrier)

The tournament needs enough teams to even take place. By excluding "noob" teams your tournament will probably not be able to realize. Additionally you said that you wanted to promote the Castle Fight Community, how does that work if they're not even allowed to participate in the tournament? Then it will be basically an in-house tournament that no outsider will ever recognize or hear of.
Don't expect every "1150+ player" to take part at a tournament, that's not how it works

we are right now at around 5 Teams with a Team based on @wTc[Jedimaster], @kunert88 (who basically had the idea), @slum, @Woodsie, @OVanKillerratO and @ballcrusher, maybe we will find even more, so finding 8 Teams should not be that hard, maybe even more. So Minimum will be possible. Like @OVanKillerratO told, it is not that much of a Problem to get to 1150 elo when in a Team, that would make 10 to 20 games, when starting with 1000 elo. Everyone that would seriously like to join that tournament should Train in his starting Team, so These 20 games would be at least a Basic preparation for noobies.
