Hello ENT players,
there are a few things we would like to announce.
Firstly, the game guides which have been contributed by the community members via the Wiki Teamwork project are finally published. If you have any suggestions yourselves or feedback for the guides, please post them there.
Secondly, as announced few months ago, our partners program is still alive. We are thrilled to announce that ENT has partnerd with The Hive Workshop. They are known as one of the biggest and profiled Warcraft 3 mapping communities; and there is nothing better than giving them a platform to have their maps hosted and at the same time, provide ENT players an easy way to provide feedback or suggest new features!
As mentioned on the wiki partner program page, the future of Warcraft 3 is all about collaborating with other communities where everybody plays his strenghts.

Re: Game Guides & Hive Workshop
Well this is good. Seems most of the active & big wc3 services and communities are bonding together to the "greater good".
Will be nice to see the future of this co-op, as everyone is still keeping the game we all love alive and as Arty here said playing/useing his/her own strenghts to contribute.
As for an addon for the wikki help/guides for maps one thing that covers most map is: Use teamwork or die/lose alone!
something thats true and most gamers that play anygame where there are teams involved is that a good team works better then everyone on there own.
(unsure if Im allowed to post/reply here but do it anyway to show suport and "Like" for this announcement.)

Re: Game Guides & Hive Workshop
Only way to maintain a certain playerbase on wc3 is for our service to be as good or better for the forthcoming and for communities to unite and promote one another. Hopefully leaders from still lasting wc3 communities realize this.

Re: Game Guides & Hive Workshop
The Island Defense game guide does not have the finesse to be labeled a guide.
its literally just a compilation of most (if not all) of the island defense mechanics. In DOTA terms, it would be a list of stuff like, heroes start at level 1, Heroes can carry 6 item at one time.
To be befitting of the term guide, it should NOT be a list of mechanics, but almost a narrative, that "guides" you along with the game. Example, instead of, "All 10 players start at level one and with 600 gold." "All five generals divide the Kingdom's spare gold equally, with only 3000 Gold Coins in reserve, each general, or player, initially receives 600 GCs. You can use GCs to trade with merchants in exchange for equipment, potions, etc. You also obtain gold pieces by..." The first line is from a list of mechanics or rules. The second line is from a REAL GUIDE, a guide should have some charisma, identical with a novel or a narrative.
I ask you change the "Island defense game guide" title, to satisfy my own libido.

Re: Game Guides & Hive Workshop
I kindly reject your request, dINO. Instead, I would appreciate a suggestion for a new guide we could add to the current one.
The term guide isn't too specifically defined by me. It is merely something which helps players playing the particular game in a more in-depth way.
