I used to work in a recruiting field, and would go through 1000s of applications per week. Any application that had a reference to a different website for info would be denied.
Re: jew @ europe
Yes, and the forum work is the main part of his application... If he says "here's where you can find my work", and links to his ent profile, that is just reference to a different site.... It's like saying "I'm applying for this job, look me up online if you want to know more about me".
I am pretty sure my comment was correctly directed. Also, it was referencing this: "Everyone on this forum always talks about looking for a job, but how many of you have actually been to job interviews/superdays/multiple rounds?"

Re: jew @ europe
It amuses me sometimes...
Why do u guys treat a mod application as a JOB? U dont get paid for... All of u know tat being a mod is a personal voluntary commitment.
Aside from minimal post requirement, isnt an applicant's individual enthusiam, passion for wc3, time spent at ENT/wc3, maturity, relevant support from community, ability to moderate games based on relevent specified game experience...tat matters? Not some reference comparison to irl job interview?
I dont know jew, but it looks like people who know tom&jerry and ID acknowledge his game knowledge + ingame behaviour. He looks like he played wc3 for quite awhile since he was a mod for other custom game + hosted his own in the past. Not sure about his ability processing bans/appeals.

Yes, I can see what you mean. I dont know this guy too well, but I just stated what I saw on the surface. If people have the willingness, communicate it properly, and have room to improve, goody goody.
I was saying in general from looking at applications in the past including now, people talk as if its a job interview or job application whether its from the applicant or reviewer's standpoint. So, it seems certain people misunderstand or misinterpret the application criterion. Thats wats interesting to me..ppl talk offtopic which r not so constructive or relevant to point.

It only started with Yondaime pointing him in the right direction. It's a simple matter of just accepting a tip, which later led to the talk about interviews. I don't really care about it, but if a player or a guy/girl can't take a friendly advice and use it, and instead start talking about something entirely different, i don't know how well the guy will listen or be able to do as he says he will, in the perspective of being a mod here.
Which i need need an reply about - Also the only reason why i haven't processed this yet.
I followed the advice after I had time. It won't be a problem.
