Game moderator specialty: Island Defense / T&J

Brief introduction:
I'm Burn, I'm pretty straight forward and I've played wc3 for many years although with a few breaks. Main games I've played are Island Defense and Tom and Jerry. I don't have much time for ban requests, but I will moderate games and ban ban dodgers since I'm pretty active nowadays.

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III:

More info:
At the start of 2004, I was playing LAN WC3 meelee (Normal WC3) with IRL mates and majored in the Undead. My username was DreamX7, which was my #1 gaming name.

DreamX7@East was my first account created on B.Net in roughly the year 2005, and I used this account to play BattleShips, Enfo's team survival, Island Defense and the sort in Battle net pubs.

During the year 2006, I started playing Local Area Network play with my brother and my homestay mates (3v1 builder vs titan) where we thought was really fun and didn't know how to play properly. We didn't play on B.Net due to the lack of CD keys.

After a while in 2006, we got attracted to DotA, which we played using a network LAN link program called hamachi since most of us didn't have genuine CD keys. It was then that all my mates basically quit ID and moved onto bigger and better games.

In roughly 2007, I joined a Clan called Clan PeID as DreamX7 because they were offering out free admins to their bots to whoever wanted to join the clan. There were a lot of abusers in the clan and I had on average 250ms, so I didn't play much. It was then that I noticed there were decent players from Europe that would occasionally play on our PeID bots. I played a few Mbot games, but got tired of it due to me having 400ms+.

May 2010, I joined an Aussie/NZ clan called NGID. I was also granted numerous access to multiple Aussie bots. Played a few on [Game] bots, but naturally I preferred Aussie bots due to lower delay. Time of my life with epicly low delay. My brother played as DeadlLy@west, where I played as BurnShady@west. After clan NGID died due to inactivity, I joined Clan TRA@west, though it was also quite dead.

Went inactive for a long time until I started hosting myself using GhostOne on Garena RPG room 02 and Garena RPG room 01 and on USeast/west, introduced Island Defense to those two Garena rooms. Had 0 delay, many wall walk fun times with noob titans. I was playing with my brother, taught and made a lot of mates there, and played multiple other Custom Games like BattleShips, Enfo, Tom and Jerry, Maze contest, Zombie survival extreme, kodo tag, archer wars legacy, etc. (see signature for large list). It was a great experience, made Clan VOLTS Island Defense, where I learnt all my internet leadership skills. Lulwut?

April 2011, started playing BGN as BurnShady@East where I grew accustomed to the small 150ms delay. I was in Clan ToID at this time. It was then that I made friends with a few friends from Europe who also played on BGN, so I tried out Global-ID. I had around 190-200ms, but I liked playing on it because my body clock was adapted to the times Euros played due to staying up late basically everyday. I joined Clan StiD@Euro at around May 2011, and really enjoyed my stay there.

September 2011 StiD offered me shammy, but I started to spam macro and led to me getting banned for 3 days on the bots (lol). This was when I first made my first macros, and started trolling around with it, and unknowingly was harming G-ID somehow because my loop macro would issue 10,000 lines of text at once, resulting in large text logs. 'Twas then that I made the world's best deto macro which I still have today (G-ID didn't ban macros of any sort). I didn't use any other macros besides message macros because I thought they were impractical.

On October 12th 2011, I joined BTI@Euro because StiD was really inactive due to exams, and I wanted to start fresh because I ruined my reputation at StiD by spam macro-ing. Of course, it was sad to leave a lot of my mates at StiD, but some came over later and was promoted to shammy after probation was over. BTI and StiD made many inhouses together, which was quite legendary. 'Twas quite fun.

On Sunday, 30th of October, 2011 StiD@east was created. I was already in clan ToID for quite some time after quitting PeID, and started to play more on East on the BGN bots.

August 2011, I was granted access to bots and granted moderator of the BGN bots after a few applications due to Ringle being a fatso and denying applications without a legit reason. StiD died because the Chief removed instead of designating chieftain, which in turn disbanded the clan due to the clan having less than 10 players. LoL.

November 2011, I co-founded Clan BTI@East because ToID was dying, and was given Chieftain of Clan BTI. Soon after, I was granted Staff Admin of BGN, and bot access to maize-bot, then promoted to staff administrator after a few months.

Clan BTI@East has been the most successful and most active Island Defense clan I've been in all of my Island Defense career. It's been an honour recruiting and advertising this clan and organising pub stomps and inhouses for you guys, and I do love you from the bottom of my heart.
Why do you want to become a game moderator?
To increase the number of bs/id brqs processed as well as unban deservant users.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community?
To strike the ban hammer with justice.

104 ban requests: search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&author=burn&fid%5B%5D=8&start=10

Kept this short and sweet.

This seems like a problem, a huge part of being a mod is processing ban requests and appeals. You'd be a moderator without fulfilling all of a moderator's responsibilities, how would that be ok?

I don't have much of a record for abusing, I think it'd be beneficial for the ENT community if they let me volunteer for their organisation. Maybe they could make an exception for me, but I will try to do them while I wait in Island Defense lobbies.

As an active player, It'd mean a lot of people would get banned before a ban request is even made.

This seems like a problem

Dubious. The ability and intent to take care of ban dodging (and presumably other serious offenses) is instrumental in good moderating. Burn will keep toxic players in their place.

Can't question his in-game character either, always good to have around.
