Brief introduction: Greetings to the ENT community, My I-name is "RadiantCrystal", feel free to call me Radi or Radiant I knowit is a little long to type in full. I joined ENT for a half a year now and I really like the community. Other things I do outside of gaming include skiing (really the best sports in winter imo :p), photographing and reading world renowned novels(yes I know, but reading is always good )

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate): Playing time is basically all day, I do not have a specific time period in which I assign to play. I will most likely be free from 5:00PM to 11:00PM PST

What is your current time zone: PST/MST

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III:
I was a forum moderator and game administrator at a CZ/SK warcraft III community (http://legiontdmega.ucoz.com/ this is the homepage now only for LTD, when I was there it had Dota and some other games too) for I believe a year and I use DRM daily to enforce game rules of the bot. I also monitor all game admin and semi-admin activity to ensure no one was abusing the power in game. I played warcraft for about 7 years and I used to play games including ladder, LTD, DOTA, Hero wars, Hero line Wars, X hero Siege, Poker TD, Line tower Defense and some more. Thus I am confident to say I have a lot of warcraft III experience

Why do you want to become a game moderator:
I often see the ban request and ban appeals lags behind for 3+ sometimes more than 5 days and I would like to put in some of my time to help out the community also bring justice to unfairly played games, potentially reduce the possible gameruin and unfair play by helping people familiarize with the rules at ENT.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community:
I will be sorting out ban requests and ban appeals so they won't get stacked up again and I would like to put in effort to help players (LTD specifically) increase their skill level and potentially creating a more competitive yet friendly gaming environment. In addition to the above I would like to eliminate as many hacker/gameruiner as possible making the community a cleaner place.

I didn't expect an application this early after we briefly spoke about this yesterday. The reason is that we cannot see a dedication yet after a single day of getting involved in the BRQs and BAs.

Former moderating experience is a big plus, you also know how to use the most common tools (FCD + DRM). If there are any questions left regarding FCD, you can always ask me or any other moderator.

Besides the 'dedication'-issue, I see nothing wrong with supporting you. Not saying that you aren't dedicated becoming an ENT mod, but actions always speak louder than words

Dunno whether a red will ask you to re-apply in a week or whether this will be just left open until more posts of you appear in the 2 required sections over the next few days.

Seen him a few times on chat, nice/cool person so far, good judgement view over brq so far. I'd also like to see some more maphack related cases (may it be due to suspicious movements or legit fogclicks).

@Hutzu Hey Hutzu, the reason for writing an application this early is not trying to get approved immediately. I just thought I should put it out there and more people can monitor how I work on things in the following days, in the end, make the final decision whether I would be eligible or not. I am going to work on more cases in the following days so do kindly not treat the application as a one-time event.

@nabo. I understand this may be a sudden post but as I explained to Hutzu, it is not to get an approval right off the bat but more as a post that clarifies my interest in the position. I will try to explain the work process there at cz/sk in short. When I was a mod there, there were two section just like how ent works, there were suggestion and complaint section as well; however, I don't know what exactly happened after I left. There were a lot more activities and games at my period of time. What I do know is the original forum founder did not have time to deal with the hosting service and he went to focus on other things and left me and another person in charge of running the bot. My duties were the same as a forum moderator on ENT: taking care of the brq's and ba's, solve any dispute that may arise and also in-game administration which includes monitoring activities of semi-admins, ensuring other game admins do not abuse their in game powers for example kick and ban players just because they do not like them or they have other views on how the game should run etc.

The reason of my resignation is when garena shuts down its service outside of Asia and Russia, the hosting bots was spammed by spam bots and people that don't understand English (mostly Russian) and I couldn't understand what they were saying most of the times and after numerous discussions between the other head admin and myself I see no sign of his willingness to put in effort to recover the activities once were there. As for the latter, overall ENT (LTD specifically) is like CZ/SK at its peak time where we also had 4 bots 1v1, 1100+ mega and beta and more skilled players and one thing for sure is I can understand and communicate using English with most people here that I could not at the end of my term over at cz/sk. Also most people's attitude is more mature compared to cz/sk, this will help out a lot when trying to setting disputes. The willingness of learning of players here is also why I see an overall improvement could be made as stated in my application.

On a side note, in the first paragraph of my application "I joined ENT for a half a year now and I really like the community." should be "I joined ENT for about half year now and I really like the community."

@aRt)Y Hi Arty, I did not overlook those questions I was just posting the reply to them at the same time you posted so I will answer all in one.

Why was your last ban request on the 6th February (with a total of 8 ban requests only)?
I am playing and observing a lot in LIHL and very rare people break rules there thus the lack of requests made. Also I would post in the LIHL section if I see one.

Any reason you then took a 18+ days break and participated again (aka 8 posts today)?
My girlfriend celebrates Asian New Year which was in mid Feb so I had less time to play as well as during my evening time almost the entire LIHL channel goes afk and I want to now utilize some of that time to get involved in some forum work on public bots

Have you been in any other warcraft 3 clans and which position did you've?
As I said in my application, I was a forum moderator and second head administrator in cz/sk warcraft III clan, though that hosting service now changed to a LTD-only bot.

Have you got any maphack cases which you reported and not only reviewed?
Right now my devote most times playing LTD as it is less "click" demanding and more friendly environment compared to for say DOTA thus I have not posted any maphack cases because I didn't encounter any; whereas if I played DOTA I am sure I will have some under my name.

same in this case,in which picture is allowed but the clicks doesnt say which player casted over testicletuesday. Furthermore the timing is wrong. can you tell me why the timing is wrong? Since you said, you ve experience with drm.

Target smart lines indicate the player is changing king's killing sequence (thus king juggle in LTD) thus providing proof to OP's 2nd report which was red intentionally king juggles to end the game (Violated Rule(s): Kingjuggling till we lost)

Here in this case I looked at his additional information: Any further thoughts: he tried a votekick and threatened to leave if not kicked, that failed then used Rhastas ult to trap me at throne.

This is probably a simple case of misunderstanding due to desync.

One thing you might have missed is I never said we were using different tools but I mentioned different versions as mine is older than the one provided on ENT thus might have some issues loading the map ID you were showing me. But version update did not affect the functionality of the tool as they are in everyway the same tool except I suppose an update in compatibility.

Well its a good point of view and after we talked in chat you could forsee what we were talking.

The information provided in the ban request wasnt according to rhasta actions but the picture it was.

One thing you might have missed is I never said we were using different tools but I mentioned different versions as mine is older than the one provided on ENT thus might have some issues loading the map ID you were showing me. I meant you were using another version downloaded from another site instead of wiki.entgaming. Still, now that you are using this version you may encounter issues or will have to know how to read/interpretate information.

I look forward to see more activity in the ban request section regarding the use of drm - fcd - rs. I dont have any doubt that you have the potential and your behaviour is according to a moderator.

I stay neutral, but i encourage you to keep working on it !

@Tedro32 I'm glad that we resolved potential problems earlier in this application. I will try to help everyday and if I come across maphack cases I will update this thread as well as more drm usage. If I have doubts I will ask other mods' opinions and update my knowledge.

As to what I do, I mainly do photo and video processing and it's hard to say how much time is needed everyday because the workflow is completing certain tasks each day. Nothing here that I cannot express in public though

Atm this guy is superactive, and i like him as a person and player.
The help he gave in BRQ's was quite nice and did minimize my work, and in the topics i did work on, he was right on his judgements about the situation.

got my !support though he needs to keep beeing active and not going back into the dust he came from just such a short time ago
