Brief introduction: Been playing DotA for years and still suck but enjoy the experience with ENT. I primarily played DotA and so I believe I am qualified to assist and help around in this community.

Why do you want to become a game moderator: Have noticed that we could use a bit more help especially with in-game moderator presence. I believe this would help reduce the level of complaints on forum and increase quality of game play.
What will you bring to the ENT community:
I am confident that I possess the temperament and discipline necessary to succeed as an admin on ENT. I recognize that the role can be unforgiving at times, often leading to verbal criticism from various sources. Nevertheless, I believe it's crucial for someone to step up and help improve the overall quality.

I support this as well! Hes the only few that i would support because I feel he understands the game and players as well. We really are in need of a mod to be active enough to enforce bans accordingly. Its seriously difficult to report all games because sometimes its pointless. I feel like judging from a replay is way different from being ingame when it happens. I honestly wouldn't mind also but if mike gets it, I 100 percent agree with it.

Can you explain in more detail what you'll be doing?

Let's say your ally sven is solo farming lanes while your team loses all t1 and t2 towers.
Your whole team is mad at sven for not joining fights.
What do you do?

On another note, what is the point?
The hitler guy has been dodging for what, half a year now? A year?
All in spite of ifck's bluster of "I'm catching 100% of dodgers now".
The deranged danish crybaby has been dodging even longer.
Whatever tools you guys have are clearly not sufficient.
These guys don't even bother to make new accounts sometimes, and they certainly don't bother to hide their identity. They still talk/act the same way.
There's only one way to get rid of them - disable new account creation.
I've been told that someone else has previously brought up this idea with the admin(s?), but they weren't receptive.
Unless you can convince them, this is a waste of time imo.
There will be some complications to it but they can all be solved if there's a will.

@dumpster_ please do not disturb this post, i actually banned like 20 accounts of this Guy, you dont see everything im doing when im out of forum, its a job you have to do every days, and all of that is to make better game for you, so do not blame People when they do their best to let you enjoy your games, you got it ?

Observation is the key to dealing with your "borderline ruiner" if that is what your referring to. Many factors have to be considered and its also situational. If you would reverse the question and ask the following I think it would give us a better idea on how to approach it.

1. Before T1 and T2 tower was lost, did sven participate in any ganks or make effort to help mid?
2. Is he/she a known carry player that just needs to farm and the team would need to buy him/her time?
3. Are the previous engagements poorly orchestrated with bad positioning and baited by a bara or team mate that is engaging poorly? If sven has a brain he would be able to assess and know that continuing to farm is a better decision.
4. What is the demeanor or response from sven when asked why they did not participate? this is pivotal.. I've seen mediocre players try new heroes or carry heroes but fail their team miserably and be labeled a ruiner. Should they be forbidden to ever use any new heroes?
5. Are they showing signs of pure negligence? bad attitude? refusing to adhere to basic team play?

The list goes on...

One of the major culprits to bad gaming experience where I would call the mother of all ruining is the toxic verbal exchanges between players over a single mistake, action or inaction. This would even turn the most law abiding players into ruiners or poor game play which you can imagine the snowball effect.

I can't promise to fix anything as I believe the existing ENT staff ( @iambackk @mattybatty @Unitil @halo_mauler and anyone else I missed) has been doing as much as they can within their limited capacity to preserve what ENT still is for us to enjoy but I would try my best to fill in gaps and improve overall Dota games.

To be honest i have thought too the idea Dumpster_ proposes. No offence i appreciate the most the job ifck is doing. I dont know if its possible but at least a player could have for example- a maximum of 4 acc's. Or 3. Not more. So you could allow someone to have 4 acc's in total and thats it. But i dont know if its something that can be done technically. I think it could be very useful. But thats not enough. How can you disable VPN ?

Mods here knows better. Its all about the tools you have i guess.

P.S. Its good that ifck agrees to Mike! Hope some other will follow

you have to talk to halo or maybe uinitil i dont decide these things or have that ability or really care to : ) he is usually around in the evenings in US central time-ish and i think uinitil might be west coast
