- Brief introduction: i'm (were) a rugby player when i don't work to earn my life (i'm a freelance account manager in IT and télécoms industry) and when i'm not playing on my computer.

-What are your current hours of playing time (approximate) ? too many : i'm handicapped for some more while, breaking one of my legg which is long and hard to heal

-What is your current time zone ? european time zone, Paris.

-Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: i'm an old w3c player : i play this game since more than 10 years. I've been sham on an old french clan and i'm a grunt on the empi clan today. I like sharing ideas and experiences with other players when we can communicate ... what is not always easy ;p
I've never been mod till now for a w3c community, just a shaman in a clan.

-Why do you want to become a game moderator ? As player, i saw many cheaters and i don't unerstand why there's so many cheaters on a funny game. There's no Financial matters, nothing more than "stats to keep as high as possible" for some players ... and cheating is so meaningless ... . I spend times to detect mhers when i think there's one on the games i played or to understand how i could be owned in the game when i realize there were no mhers ;p . I just want to share this experience.

-What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community ? a really good skill to detect mhers and cheaters. If you check the ban requests, you would find some reports i've done. You'll surely see, i've been banned many times too, mainly for flaming / game ruining (even if i think farming when i have been Under leveled / stuffed is better than keeping feeding hard) when there was no teamplay or bad beginners which seemt to be unable to read / writte anything. Unlike nabot, i think some players / mod would have read bad things about me, i let them checking this.

Closing Statement: i'm always happy to play on ent games and would be happy to bring / share my experience on dota / lod games to detect mhers.

I dont play LoD much anymore, so I havent seen u ingame. But, I have seen you quite a few times on the brq section. I believe that once you start using drm, you will be good. Yes, commitment is essential! We are in need of dota mods and I like your app.

Never seen much rage other than a ban request against him once in a while, I believe only two or three have gone through in many many games.

he's good with maphack cases, not only including fog clicks but also recognizing maphacking behaviors which is a huge plus in my book. I need some more help with dota ban requests-- moderators that tend to play a mixture of ltd id and dota tend to wander from dota cases after a short period.
He seems mature enough, but I would want more consistent activity and perhaps try to stay away from the occasional raging a bit Also @tonton-Raoul download drm and figure out how to translate fogclicks from the fcd to action log (among other things on the drm) if u haven't already
All in all I support this, I would give him a trial period for getting in game moderator powers, though

@ child : i recognize i have/had sometimes over reactions in some games. i (m) try(ing) to put some water in my wine (french expression ...) or to tone it down but it's sometimes hard to hide or calm down my french grouser temperament ;p
I ll try to use drm to be familiar with and i would be fine with getting just a trial if needed.

@ art)y : unfortunately for my legg, i won't be able to play anymore rugby and have a long period of reeducation (3-6 months) so i guess i have time to think to this -.-
But i didn't stop to play before this, i just played less regularly.
I didn't apply, because i didn't play so regularly in ent community bots and didn't find interests in. I didn't know there was ban requests before knowing ent forums ...
I think you re gonna find pieces of answers about my "criminals" (;p) activities in the previous lines but i can add than i ve sometimes wrotte that i wanted to stop to defend (reasons of my bans in some lod games) and i didn't do it. And my overreactions are really few in comparison with the number of games i've played.
I didn't understand the matter with the 5 day breaks (?), what is it about ?

@ smurf : i don't think to know you (or maybe just not your game name account), or don't think to have met you so many times in game, but i read your posts on each times there was something wrong with me, it was sometimes right but not always ... . and i really don't rage every games i play... . I know or often meet many regular lod players who would tell you (thinking to gabri_crevi, nesquick, boreldi, "sgt_pownsalot", teamlor, maska, barouch, jamais_203...) so what's your real name account ?

I know my defects and my qualities. I'm not gonna writte too many about my defects (not all in same times if i want to have a chance ;p ) but i can tell i think to be a fair player and i like playing with fair and communicative players, big beginners or confirmed / experimented players. I just really dislike cheaters who have to use mh (among other cheats) just to feel better than other players and i dislike too the beginners unable to writte and to read anything and who keep feeding a whole game. (example lililatigresse : i tried to write in french with him/her, since it's a french gn player but in every games i see her/him, she/he never writes / reads anything and keep feeding on each ones...) . I don't understand how they can have fun even if i can understand than everyone don't speak English (chinese language isn't supported on europe.bnet. I noticed for example than players can writte chinese letters but there's nothing written in the bnet chat for european players)

Have you read all rules (forum and game) and are you aware that administrative work will take most of your time?

i use w3mh.mxitape in game and fcd for replay and when it's not enough (more often than i expected to do) instinct to select the games to watch. I didn't begin or try to use drm yet.

I think to know most of the rules for gaming and took a look in forum ones. For my times, it depends on how many times you're talking about. I will have pleasure to share experiences and knowledges. I would be able to "work" between 45 min to 1h30 per day as mod but i don't / won't forget my real pleasure is to play and i have to earn my life too on other way, so 45 min to 1h30 a day seems to be reasonable for me. I hope that's reasonable for you too.

@ agreements : i quite always use x3mh.mixtape in game but i play only lod games so not in normal dota (but is there a difference of using it in normal dota or in dota lod ?). I often referred to a topic in which it was written w3mh was allowed since it didn't give piece of info on the fogclicked subject, and i think it was written by an admin. (this topic doesn't seem to be anymore available in the forum, but i can refer to the link below :

uh, i've just noticed these last days the w3mh was bugged but is it a matter of map release or w3cmh.mixtape release ? i didn't play lod for 2/3 weeks, and i got this last w3mh mixtape release on ent forum. I've seen, since these last days, it gives full pieces of info now about the foglicks. It didn't 2/3 weeks ago... ;p
The referred topic isn't really new (surely written over 6months ago) and i don't remember but i think it was a topic you wrotte agreements. It surely didn't bugg on this period. I thought it was bugged only on my own when i reinstalled it few days ago ...

so just to get it clear for me :
- isn't it w3mh.mixtape, fcd tool, which is allowed in ent games since it doesn't give info about who's fogcliked ?
- do i have a bugg with my w3mh mixtape since i have full info about who's fogclicked and about who's fogclicking ?
i used it 2/3 weeks ago, i changed my hard disk, reinstalled w3c and downloaded w3mh.mixtape on ent forum. Now i have "raoul has fogcliked on tonton on 20:00" when i had the piece of info "this one had fogclicked on 20:00 min" .... . What's the problem if the mixtape is same as before ?

Fog Click Detectors (FCD) are considered third party programs for DotA. You are only allowed to use a specific FCD called "w3mhdet.mixtape" which doesn't provide information like a maphack tool.

Just throwing this out there.

@tanton, are you sure you didn't put the other FCD (or both) in your wc3 folder?

I checked it and i don't see anything else than customkey and w3mhdet files on 1st look. i put the screen shot of my warcraft folder as attachment if you see where' i'm wrong, i would thank you because on 1st check point i didn't see.

Doesn't seem responsible enough, exceptional history of being reported for afk griefing, other forms of griefing, using FCD in public games, refusal to play, glitching, etc. etc. etc.

Seems like he is unable to resolve his own problems with lag, FCD, etc. and I don't think he will be able to help others/process requests well.
