Brief introduction: Hello there, Ent community. I am not sure if most of you know who I am, but hi! I am Adrian ( also known as Marshmalloon.XD), my friends always like to call me Marshelo,Marsh and Malloon. I've been playing DotA now for 6 years, since grade 3. I am here now applying for a DotA moderator position to help the Ent community to process ban requests, especially if it is about DotA.

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: I have no experience yet in moderating but I have contributed/helped many times in Ban Requests. Commented Ban Requests that is already processed.(Approved and Denied)

When it comes to my experience in Warcraft III
7 years ago, I don't know what is Warcraft III and how to play it, until my big brother introduced me that game. I enjoyed playing it, I started playing campaign on single player. But after almost 1 year, I finished playing the campaign and got bored, because after I finished that game, I just played it repeatedly. Then my big brother introduced me about the map/game DotA on WC3. He taught me how to play it and also about the basics and after I learned because of his teachings, we played 1on1 and I lose so many times, and it was a very happy game between us. After I lose many times, I've think many times about beating him, so I trained myself in playing with other people in Garena, by using all of heroes and reading effects that is written on the items and skills of every heroes.

Since I improved now on playing DotA. Me and my big brother is joining sometimes in some small tournaments here in PH.

Why do you want to become a game moderator: This community gave people a free hosting service. I felt like I really want to help/serve this very good community, a community that gives happiness, enjoyments, excitements to people. As a player, I have seen many game ruiners, maphackers, afkers,etc. especially on DotA. I want to reduce and ban those violators with my fair judgement.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community: I am an active forum member to this community and enjoyed being here. So I want to bring something good to this community. First,I will bring my maturity, it seems that I am not mature because of my age but I know how to respond to the other people and to the community in an appropriate manner. I am being childish sometimes but my maturity will still prevail.Second, I can be honest, make judgments/decisions that are free from discrimination or that is in unbiased way.Third, my helping hand. I will help moderators and admins to process ban requests and appeals.

Well, i've known him for a while now. Good behaviour in forum / active (havent checked ingame behaviour). Seems to be able to use tools (Also asked before for help trying to set up DRMF for LoD games, and seems to listen and ask for advices); Quality posts and contributes on brq. For me, i'd say he's ready to start as long as he shows maturity / knows when to be serious and doens't troll around due to childish behaviour, but i guess he already know this part +1 from me

14 huh? I pictured you older than that.

As for ingame behavior, there's nothing new here. A lot of us act this way occasionally too. But, I believe being a moderator matures you pretty quickly, so considering where he's coming from, I think he'd show good improvement soon. I'm for giving him a chance.

I see no reason to deny marshmalloon, I have seen him post frequently in the ban sections with useful information. +1

Some questions:
* Where are you from? Philippines?
* Have you been in any wc3 Clans before (as shaman or leader perhaps)?
* Will you ever play official ENT games or just your privately hosted ones?
* Any other games you are playing/you could process except for DotA? Any ban requests for custom games you commented on?
* Any other requests where we can evaluate your judgement except for maphack cases?

Post quality and attitude seems indeed fine considering the age - which in most cases can lead to a denial. But I doubt it in this case.

As a tip for mh cases, you might also want to look for moments to defend the player (pros/cons).

I am currently playing privately hosted games. But if this suggestion has been approved, I will start playing DotA on official ent games.

I already played on garena at all times, I've had many friends, bestfriends, I don't want to leave them. I enjoyed listening some animes music by using Talktalk with garena. But I will try b.net someday.

I didn't use entconnect because my mother don't want me to install anything to her laptop and I have no idea why.("Anything" ofcourse including Java).
My mother is currently working in the other country. She already sent me 1 gaming pc. I will receive the pc in December, so I have to wait for 1 month and many more days. But if you need me now to use the entconnect , I will ask my mother tomorrow and will beg if I can install java 7+ to her laptop. @aRt)Y

Its surprising and notable that you dont play autohosted games, yet just wish to help with brqs and appeals. Motive seems to be solid(maybe its more reasonable because you are 14).
