Game moderator specialty (see below for choices): dota, dota lod, legion td
Brief introduction: Hello my name is George.I am 25 years old as i said earlier, i have quite a big expirience in wc3 ive been playing for a very long time cant even remember.Im a university student studying to be an elementary school teacher.
What are your current hours of playing time (approximate): 4-5 every day
What is your current time zone: GMT + 2:00
Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: My expirience in warcraft 3 is very big i played lots of maps and i have been into island defense (my early days) dota afterwards and now legion td.I was a moderator, user abuse manager, unban requests manager in mymgn.com.More specifically unban requests: http://www.mymgn.com/board/search.php?searchid=3265464 user abuse : http://www.mymgn.com/board/search.php?searchid=3265466. Cant find them all if you feel the need to search more you can track my posts, though i was in a greek forum so you will need help translating it. I cant provide with the actions when i was a moderator cause i dont have access to that section anymore but i was one of the most active.I stayed there for some time when i felt i wasnt into dota anymore i gave up my spot to someone who was more eager to help. I also helped there with the organization of tournaments and streaming.
Why do you want to become a game moderator: I wanna be a moderator to help balance the games since i see lack of mods in games and help with the work on forums. On Ent forums i took some time and looked into 3 maphack replays yesterday i am familiar with fog click detector as well as with dota replay manager.
Ban requests
Spoiler!

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community: I will bring experience, new ideas, tournament organizing, new maps ideas to add.
Closing Statement: Friendly willing to learn, cooperative and i can follow orders according to ranks.

That's fine and dandy, but what have you done to contribute to ENT thus far?

I dont really like answering in a post on my application. Even though played in europe and in east over a thousand games on ENT i reported the people i knew they broke the rules to make this league better. I am a member in lihl (one of the most active) and i believe in my case the real question is what will i offer in the future if i get a chance. I updated the original with with some ban appeals i took some time to solve involing maphack i will updating again tomorrow since i plan on looking on more.

Don't know much about his skills for the mod position but I do know that he is a nice guy with a decent head on his shoulders.

Too few comments and discussions on ban requests/appeals.

Never seen him on chat whatsoever.

Dodges matdas' question.

?

the real question is what will i offer in the future if i get a chance.

That's always a difficult thing. If you, however, rely on our believes (to give you a Chance) rather than your qualification, then you should present yourself better.

Makes no sense to be honest ... If you won't answer a post on your application, how will you answer any questions that are made? :P

I can't really follow this idea, i mean, never seen you around on chat, just recently started seeing you around brq section, haven't seen any commitment around (not speaking about LIHL, but seems like there you are one of the best members from what i've noticed on comments).

So as it is at the moment, i'd have to say no mostly cause i got no clue who you might be (try to come more often on chat: Usually i like to know to have an idea of the person applying ) + low activity on forum.

EDIT: Also on brq that are provided with 2 situations, would be nice to check them both: https://entgaming.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... 47#p197347 " cerberus337 for maphack, lu.bu for excessive afk", you simply answered about the MH.

@arty @hyorinmaru What i meant was that i dont like spamming my own application you could ask me in more direct ways like skype or chat .Yeah i may havent present myself in the best possible way.
@matdas according to your question what i think ive offered ent so far is ingame quidance to new players on legion td, keeping Lihl active, playing lots of different maps on ent, hosting through ent and promoting it.

This make no sense to me. This app's is like a CV. It put everything on paper. In skype/chat, things are not saved like on a forum post. Maybe the staff will lose something you've said and would like to come back on it and you will just say something like : 'I never said something like that'.. Show me where I said that.

(I go to extreme I know..)

Compare this to real life jobs app'. If the boss say it's here you apply, you will get there and apply here. You'll not go to him and say, I want to do this on phone, I don't want to spam your place. Kind of a no. Huh?..

Same for here, we have a place for staff application and you should post here. You said you don't like to spam your app but you just did it by not answering a simple question AND still posting something completly out of it (dodging the question but you still post, for me it's spamming)..?? This make no senses.. again. (to me. maybe I'm crazy)

Wish you best.

Why is posting on your own application a spam? As long as you post useful new content that is relevant to the topic, it wont be a spam. Staff and regular users are open to comment on your application, so you can engage and respond to their questions and curiosities. Feel free to drop by the chat, so we can get to know you more.

So in other words, you have been a regular user. It is great that you are fully taking advantage of the things ENT has to offer, but as someone who wishes to be of help and be part of our team, we expect you to be more involved with ban requests and appeals which are the main activity places for game moderators. Show us you are willing to commit more than regular users. We foremost value commitment, after all.

I registered and I cannot view these mymgn links. I get a "sorry, no match found" message. If they are posts that require further access, dont see the point of posting them. Although "unban" requests are as important, it would be great if you can show more ban requests analysis using mh tools and these "experiences" and game knowledge you have.

It is great that you have moderation background, but you have shown little. Fcd clicks arent what we look for. Believing you and you showing us and proving yourself is a different story.

I think you should reapply once you have more to show.

I think you should reapply once you have more to show.
That sums up well the general opinion of the users who posted.

Please reapply in 'bout two weeks once you engaged more with the community/forum/staff. See ya
