Brief introduction: I'm currently a contract worker so I have a lot of free time to moderate ENT. I'm active around 100 games per week, and will keep games free of ban dodgers and game ruiners.
What are your current hours of playing time (approximate): Since I'm doing most of my work on the computer, I can prevent ban dodgers from joining games for many hours per day.

Why do you want to become a game moderator:

Improve game quality by kicking then banning abusers before it affects any games.
Improve game quality by banning abusers so that they won't be able to ruin future games.
I am efficient at going through replays for fog clicks and easily spot suspicious maphack activity in replays.
Prevent ban dodgers from joining games.
Eventually get on to writing & deleting rules.
Make ENT a better place.

I mean, if you're accusing me of abuse then I hope you have the proof to back it up. Else, wouldn't it be just slander? I've been a mod for ENT for a long long time, and lead admin on BGN for longer, with no history of recorded abuse. Surely that has to mean something.

I guess there are people more qualified to talk about Burn's history, but I'd like to point out that he has been (and probably always was) instrumental in shaping Island Defense's direction as far as development and bettering the metagame for us run-of-the-mill players. His recent contributions show no hint of whatever nonsense people are dancing around here. I think he has a great attitude and possesses a lot of experience other applicants do not.

So you seriously "don't remember" the incidents involving you banning 2-3 different individuals for maphack with no proof other than your FCD going off because you shared control with them? A'ight.

Sure, each were isolated incidents while you were with BGN, but it was enough to show that you're quite too hasty when it involves ingame banning. However, those are far outnumbered by the times where you have helped contributed and build the community to become better.

That was one instance. That is not abuse, it's rather a mistake. I'm not perfect, I probably have around 1000 to 2000 bans I've made while being admin on various bots including ENT and BGN, and you gotta point out some minor mistakes that I instantly fixed a few hours later?

EDIT: I don't think it's fair to call my mistakes abuse. I've made plenty of mistakes in the past but I learn from them and won't make the same mistakes again.

More like a few weeks later, after one of them resorting to hacking a BGN admin's account and kicking your ass with it... But we're getting a bit off topic.

Every ID player is a troll. Claiming anything else and you are just lying to yourself. The difference between Burn and common ID player is that Burn can also be mature, reasonable and take things seriously when needed. He is also very knowledgeable regarding moderation tools.

I'm sure he would be excellent addition to our team.

Your latest ban requests are from your own games (latest brq reviewed date from january when you last applied - after that, your activity disappeared once again - i see no activity on appeals/brq to believe/support this app)

Once again, hope that you do understand that most of the work will be on forum, not ingame moderation.

Considering your last app, and this one now, i'm still keeping my no until you actually show some activity/commitment.

I was once processed for the police force. Two questions on the psychological interview were 'what's the worst thing you've done?' and 'what's the worst thing you've done that you haven't been caught for?'

Two different questions. Which is why the word "recorded" in your quote above is kind of a red flag for me. Why'd you feel the need to add that in your comment?

To be honest, this is sounding a little ridiculous. People are clinging on words and twisting them to make them sound bad.

People make mistakes, Burn is no exception. But the positive sides of him being mod outnumber the negative ones (if there are some) by far.

While Haunt definitely has a point, activity still remains a primary concern. I am not fully familiar with Burn's past nor am I interested in it but from what I see, there are huge gaps in activity in the ban request section and they do remain within ID and rarely signs of other game categories though the posts are accurate. Overall mature, able to detect and prior experience so that's also a positive. My vote is on neutral given recent discussions/as stated, the activity concern.

@GetStomped Would you prefer me word it saying I've never abused before on ENT/BGN as mod/staff admin/lead admin? 'Cause then you'll just have to take my word for it, instead of looking at the facts.

@Virulence It's becoming he said/she said, but TBH I don't really remember it that well since it's so long ago but I have never banned or posted a BRQ using false fog clicks after that incident, which means it'll never happen again, so it becomes a non-issue.

I am active on the forums, I can guarantee that I will have time and activity to do everything a mod is required to do. I come on the forums at least 4-5 times a week to check my notifications. If I were a mod, I'd try to check every new unprocessed ban request/appeal and try to get them sorted ASAP.
