Brief introduction: Hi everyone, my name is Gabriel but most of you know me as ArOuNDThaWOrLD on WC3. I've been on this forums for a few years and mod in the past as well. I left due to inactivity but I've been back for a few months now.

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate): I have thousands of hours playing WC3. My play time is usually from 7 pm to 2 am.

What is your current time zone: EST

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: Like I've mentioned in my previous app I've been mod on multiple platforms during my years playing WC3. On BGN, here at ENT for a while and also on multiple private bots for NWU and other custom games. Since I've been mod here at ENT, I know how the ban requests and appeals work, I also know how to use the admin panel to take care of bans and other moderator functions. I've been playing WC3 for a long time and it's a game I never want to quit.

Why do you want to become a game moderator: The game I usually play (NWU) has no real moderators except Matdas and previously Masamune. Matdas used to play NWU a lot but I haven't seen him play it in a long time so I think some moderation is needed both in game and on the forums (currently 6+ requests are sitting there and most of them have been there for 2/3 weeks). There is too much BRQs unanswered or not reviewed by mods these days and I believe I could help process a good amount of them. I want games to be fair and to punish those who work against ENT and the community by simply game ruining or breaking rules.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community: I've mentioned it before, but I'm an experienced player in WC3 and I know the rules here at ENT. I will do my best for them to be respected and to punish those who break them.

Closing Statement: I have to be honest, last time I applied, I thought my old mod status would make me able to get the job back so I got cocky and barely did any forum work. This time though I hope I have proven I want to help ENT once again with the amount of work I did in the past 3 weeks.

Haven't seen much around chat; Generally contributes positive on appeals/ban requests (detailed reviews); Certainly picked activity since his last application.

What i do wonder is that in all ban requests you've posted, i don't see any tools usage (DRM) - Are you capable of using them? I'd like to ask you to provide a few recent cases where you used tools (or feel free to review any new case).

So far i'm gonna stand !neutral until i start seeing you using tools while reviewing ban requests

His links are all non-mh issues. You gotta prove you can use DRM, distinguish legit fcs from non and are good at determining if suspicious game play is mh.

There is a need to process cases that he deals with but if you cant handle processing mh cases I dont think you should be a mod.

I waana see tools usage and mh cases reviewed accurately.

I'm capable of using them and have been doing so for a long time. You can check the BRQs I just linked to confirm. Recently though I haven't really been able to use DRM because for some reason it seems non compatible with Windows 10. It either stops responding after trying to do anything (going to settings, choosing a replay, etc.) or just doesn't starts at all.

I've been using tools like Replay Seeker, FCD, etc. with no problems.

That kind of knowledge comes with experience of the game and he can learn it. I don't see it as obstacle of getting moderator status.

That being said, I would like you to improve your activity in chat, but overall you seem like a good guy.

If I had access to the admin section of the forum I could find a bunch of posts concerning this but I don't and I'm not sure if they would still be here. Since I don't have access I'll just tell you yes simply because in NWU it's very rare for players to buy wards compared to DotA so it's very simple to figure out if someone maphacks. In DotA well it's easy to confirm it after game if people do suspicious plays like random blinks and stuff.

Cool. I believe you. Pro Mhers are the worst. The more mods willing to look at their cases the better. It takes time to go through their replay because they are usually not stupid enough to make repeated blatant mh moves. But they sure are fun to bring down.

Just make sure to actively use the tools as they are a major part of our procedures.
