Name: Patrick
Age: 25
Game moderator specialty (see below for choices): LihlMod
Brief introduction: Well some of u may remember me as MushRoom.
For those who doesnt my name is Patrick im 25 years old and im from denmark.
Ive got 3 wonderfull kids that takes alot of my time, rest of it i use on gaming :)
Ive been a mod before (normal mod) But i had to retire cause my oldest son had some health issues. (all good now)
What are your current hours of playing time (approximate): 4-6 Hours a day.
What is your current time zone: (UTC+01:00)
Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: Been a Mod before under the name Mushroom
Why do you want to become a game moderator: First of all because i like the fact that there are rules and i wanna make sure that they are being uphold by all. Also shows in my many reports (not all to happy with that) Lihl is actually the only thing i play atm, and i think there are some issues atm and i would like to help fix those.
What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community: Well i will bring alot of work, hopefully some nice and fun hours of game and chat.
Closing Statement: i care deeply about lihl and want it to be as good as possible. Everyone knows that im not friends with everybody but 1 thing is sure i would be objective in every cases like i was back when i was a mod aswell..

I hope for some feedback both the good and the bad ..

Best regards -TGD

He has too much rage. Not worthy of being a mod. #truthhurts

And the times i went over the line i apologies to the person.

Ship_ Lord-Miles Tinsoldier. those 3 i argued alot with, only i was unfair to was ship. Still i apologies to all 3 of them cause i dont want any bad atmoshpere or anything :)

But hey we all cant agree.

I didn't even know you are mushroom :O
That also makes me a bit curious looking at your vouch request for your current account in which you said you have no experience in LTD leagues and that you are new at Ent, both apparently not being true. What was the reason for that?

He is a good and active player. He follows the rules but imo is sitting on a too high horse since some weeks/few months. Also hasn't shown much activity on the forums yet. I'm sceptical but neutral.

I have to agree with Jubadus here.

I see him raging often.
His attitude is bad towards worse players. Or atleast his mood is rather unstable from what I've experienced.
That's just an opinion, but I doubt he can be unbiased in his decisions.

While active moderators would be a good thing for the LIHL, I simply don't think he can represent the community in a positive way, despite whatever amount of forum work he's willing to do. I think that a moderator doesn't necessarily have to be a good player so the fact that he's very good shouldn't weight too much in the decision.

Overall, I can't give you my support until you work on your attitude.

That is true dia.
I went away for some time cause my son had some health issues like i also mention in the request.
When i came back alot of people were constantly asking about how he was etc (all in a good meanin)
But at that time i wasnt really ready to talk about it, was some really hard months.

So i made a new acc to go abit (undercover) So i wouldnt have to deal with that.

I dont really know what u mean with the high horse :)

I would say ive been pretty active in lihl forum. Not the normal forum no since its lihl i care about :)

Rage often i wouldnt say i do..

Like i also said to juba i wont hide that i got a temper but really thats for the love of the game.
When i started lihl people inhere could tell me to jump and i would do it cause i knew they were better and i wanted to adapt and learn.
Not saying worse players doesnt have anything to say for themselves but i do feel that they should listen to better players :)

The fact that u doubt if i can be Unbiased in my decisions show that u doesnt know me very well. 1 thing i care alot about are rules.
I report every rule broken or every dc made (cause i think its right and cause i dont wanna make any difference in people) U can ask wolke And King23 about that. 2 people i would have called an internet friend. both got mad at me, 1 cause i reported and 1 cause i didnt draw after 20.
both got same reason from me. If i do like this to other i will do it to u aswell else what kind of person would i be.

Another examble is Donbola, He is an irl friend of mine aswell as dong. But when i was a moderator before i was also a part of banning him.
Thats how unbiased i am..

I do work on my attitude, and if i cross the line people are more than welcome to tell me ingame or where ever and ill talk to em about it. :)

Dont need someone who is harsh or aggressive. Looking for someone who can be reasonable with others.

Attitude makes a huge difference in my books. A lot of things start with your attitude.
If you are serious about becoming lihl mod, you will need to cut some of the anger and sarcasm down. Although I think its fine for those who know you, but those who dont will probably react negatively.

You would like to fix issues, such as?

Do start with yourself.
As far as I see, it is certain players' behaviour that is the biggest problem in lihl. We are open for suggestions for improvements.
To be objective, gotta have a goal/plan/standard/vision in mind.

Well now i know the reason you whispered me last night and tell me sorry about your rage and can we got a fresh start.

As i said i don't really have a problem with you or someone else in the league , but i doubt that you will change the behave and rage in games.

As for the apply , for me you need more time thats just my personal opinion , you tell to peoples things like: Shut up , you are not allowed to talk here , su , fu , noob and lots of more things.

First of all you have to work at your rage and getting upset so fast.

Regards.

I do consider myself reasonable.

Ive started playing with the lihl-mod idea a week ago, and if u check u can see a change in my behaviour.
Before I became a normal mod I could rage etc. But when I became a mod that stopped. (not trying to justify)
just saying that with any job there will come some professionalism. If ur a LIHL-MOD u got a responsibility, and ofc that will change how u react and act on certain matters. Atleast it will for me.

Things I would like to fix/help with:

I would be active a lot which I think is needed abit atm since there often a long waiting-time on posts :)
I would like to work out something with rest of lihl staff to make it clear exactly what is TK and what is not. Since people seem to disagree about that.
I would like to clearify with staff exactly what is expected as a minimum of a new LIHL-Vouch applicant.
In general just make sure there are some clear boundries. I think we need that..
And most Important of all I would like to bring good work ethic and hopefully a good mood :)

And ofc even tho I think I have improved a lot with attitude there is always space for more improvement and ill keep working :)
But I would like to say, that how many people who "cross the line" are willing to own up to their mistakes and personally apologies to the people they wronged ? Well im on of those, and I did that :)

Lord-miles big surprise u comment :)

Well I don't know how people can tell why I do what I do ? The only one who knows why is myself or am I wrong ?

I apologies to u cause I ment it. BUT I also mean that less skilled players like urself should listen to more skilled players like myself.
My only problems with u has been that from the start u joined, even before u joined u had a really hard time trying to listen to advice.
And yea when people wont take advice when making mistakes I got angry. But even tho I did, I know I shouldn't and that is why I apologies nothing else.

About the things u say I say:

Fu. I don't say that no :)
Su. if a person annoys me enough and I don't wanna ignore (cause we need teamwork) ofcourse I will ask the person to su ?
Noob. It is very few people I called that word without it being friends so they know its for fun. actually I think I only called u and ship it. And lets be honest that's not far off ;) Still I shouldn't do and to repeat myself - I did apologies for it.
