Gproxx++ DC when loading Code

Postby smunkish » Wed Dec 18, 2013 11:16 pm

Right so ive managed to kill the boss on easy on White TD. I copied the code but everytime i try to load it i get Gproxx something and i get disconnected! Weird thing is that it works when i go on single player. Any ideas what i can do to prevent this!=

*Edit it works in LAN mode with friends aswell but not with ENT-gaming
Thanks in advance!

If you are using Gproxy++, make sure the username you have in your Gproxy++ window is the same username as LAN screen. They must be the same name or you will get desyncs with load codes.

Most codes for any map are case sensitive, meaning that lowercase and capital letters do matter.

Also, is there a specific reason why you're using Hamachi?

Stealing others' work and calling it your own doesn't make you a professional map maker.

So any ideas what i should do? Make new profile ingame with lowercase letters like i have on this forum and kill him on easy again? :(
This really blows because the extra gold u get from loading the code is kinda needed!!

Nah no reason im using Hamachi really just had it before i knew about this site :)

Gproxy shouldn't affect what your username is, as long as it's your BNet account (the one you used while setting up GProxy) and what your name appears on the LAN screen when you join games.

Unless you were thinking of EntConnect, and then in that case, you would have to do that, unfortunately.

GProxy++ requires you to set the username from the LAN place, just like ENT Connect.
