Ent Connect doesn't work: Java crashes

Hello!
I'd like to start off by saying I have read the Econnect wiki.

I've played through ENT connect for a while and it has worked flawlessly before. But since last year sometime around October whenever I try to join a game through ENT Connect my Java crashes and I'm only able to activate (the little square becomes green) perhaps once every 10 times. I have always had the latest version of Java, and this problem has remained even though I have updated my Java client. I have tried this on multiple computers, both my laptop and stationary are having this problem. I have always checked so that my Java client works through Javas website.

My stationary is running windows 7 and my laptop running windows 10, both 64-bit versions of the OS's. I always try to use ENT connect by clicking the YouTD shortcut in the game list page.

If the problem is on my end I'm curious what it could be since I have the same problem on two computers.

I use firefox but I think I recall trying chrome once and it had the same outcome.

Yes, I only join through local area connection when using ENT connect.

However, with the problem I am having I am unable to get that far as to see the games pop up in the LAN section in wc3. ENT Connect just doesn't load.

This is a problem related to java itself being malicious for browser nowadays. They decided to make it not work mainly... So you have to juggle with it. It crashes me often to. Just hit f5 till it work. Does it end working? That's all you should be happy with. Chrome will never (till miracle) run Java anymore.

Maybe it's one of these thing messing up. Otherwise there's nothing to do..

Man that sucks. Yeah, when it actually does work it never crashes. The tutorial is the same on the ENT connect wiki which I have already done, but thanks for you effort. I suppose I'll have to go at it some more then, unless there is another fix....

I am very mad. I am restraining myself from simply writing curse words.
I haven't bothered with Java the past years because of the high amount of shitfuck it causes.

After getting "Connection lost" on battle.net all the time, I wanted to try ENT connect.
Downloaded Java
Use Mozilla Firefox
Add entgaming.net/ and /entconnect/ to exceptions in the Java security configuration

However can't click anything due to Java crashing
