Can you use an old wc3 version to play with entconnect?

Also: will entconnect ever be updated?
I am aware of GProxy++ but I am specifically interested in Entconnect.

You can use warcraft 1.27.1 to play using entconnect

you can dl via battle.net oficial and play or download http://eurobattle.net/content/ update to 1.28.2 after take installer v8 .
