Lag/Disconnect while on ENT Connect

Postby TosCl » Sun Jun 09, 2013 3:03 pm

Hi there,
I've been having some lag/disconnect issues with ENT lately, so I decided to try out ENT Connect. It has been a little better but I'm still having issues. Was just disc'd from my last game after some intense lag using the Chicago proxy. ENT Connect said it reconnected me to the server but I was still dropped from the game after maybe 20 seconds of lag/freezing. How can I diagnose these issues and find out what the problem is?

Thanks

I'd recommend not using the Chicago proxy setting.

I start lagging maybe 20mins into a game but I don't disconnect (unless they VK me). I don't use the Chicago Proxxy, though.

I have some connection problems aswell, but does disconnecting count as leaving?

I tried both using the chicago proxy and without, with the chicago proxy I can't even connect into a game and without the proxy I will be able to play but like koblaster said I will be lagging so bad that others will VK me. is there anything wrong with the entconnect? I love using it because of the nice feature it has. please fix it. thank you

So you mean you lag with ENT Connect (without the proxy setting), but don't if you join without it?

what dnsmo is try to say is that he can't get into game if he's useing the chicago proxxy but if he doesn't use the proxxy, he can play for a few minute but soon start lagging like a person using dial-up

that's right, I think it's a little bit better yesterday when I try entconnect without proxy enable. I was able to play couple games without any lag. I will keep trying today again and report back.

My question was whether you lag if you join directly over Battle.net.

I did that too and if I join from battle.net it's fine. I do get lag sometime but it's not as bad. and today I went entconnect without proxy and I was able to play whole day without any problems. so maybe it's good for now.

I'm also experiencing NO problems for now, but I would like to see a reason why sometimes my ping goes from 180 to 600 in a matter of seconds.
