patch problems

Obviously there are ways to fix this problem for PC users. Does anyone have a solution guide for Mac users? Except the one that suggested throwing once Mac away and buy a PC? Cause then one would have to evaluate buying a PC for the sake of playing wc3 only. Has it come to this? Would love a solution to this problem...

@unitil, you mentioned you have a MAC. Can you just post a copy of patch 1.30.1 on this forum and we can download the patch maybe?

Hello !

I downloaded the patch 1.30.2 by mistake, and did this protocol above.
When i launch wc3 as an admin it says the CD key is unvalid.
I think i did something wrong : I copied the cd keys.rar in C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III (thus replacing the existing files)
Any idea how i could fix this ?

There is a Copy of 1.30.1 with link to google drive dl. on this forum both Mac and pc version. Problem is that it comes up as broken and if you try to launch or repair it it automaticly updates to 1.30.2. Stil would like a solution guide for Mac users. If there is one... (except of course buying a PC)

There is now a link to the Mac version of 1.30.1 in the Wc3connect topic: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=135760

If you download that and run Warcraft 3.exe (not Warcraft 3 Launcher, which autoupdates the game) it should work.

If you're having problems with the 1.30.1 patch on Mac due to crashes/bugs with Warcraft 3, there's not much we can do unfortunately : <
