Owner problem

Postby demon-storm » Thu Aug 01, 2013 3:24 pm

When I host a Warlock map, most of the times I don't have owner over the game. The bot doesn't recognize me as the host and I can't use any commands. I have no idea why this would happen, I host this map as any other. I know some of my friends that encounter those problems too and this doesn't happen only in Warlock, but mostly in it, so I would like to know a solution for this. Thanks in advance.

"Use /w Ent.Hosting(#) sc to spoof check immediately."

Make sure you spoof check.

When you first join the game, there will be a bunch of messages by the hostbot. One of them will tell you its name.

As holybear as said, please whisper the bot's name and type sc afterwards, e.g. "/w ent.hosting1 sc".

This will spoof check your account to verify that you're the host.

If you are using GProxy++, all you have to do is type "/sc" and the program will automatically type spoofcheck to the bot for you. It is much simpler than manually whispering "spoofcheck" to the bot.

I am playing on garena. I can't send any whispers. !sc doesn't work either.

Edit: This problem occurs on "custom hero survival" as well.

edit2: This gets fixed, but I have to enter and leave some rooms first. I don't know what causes this...

Well using ENT connect might help fix your issues of not being able to spoofcheck.

No one told you to try that o_O

So, !checkme sometimes says you're an owner and sometimes not? Even if you use the same "owner username" when you host the game?

Probably sometimes the room doesn't send your username to gcb, so the host bot can't confirm that your username is correct and uses your user ID instead.
